This little dive has been here for years, producing some of the best grease-laden burgers you’ll sink your teeth into. Chomp away at artery-clogging goodness in each and every bite. The staff is friendly, helpful and if I’m not mistaken, family owned. Oh, and the hotdogs are delicious as well! The onion rings aren’t hand breaded, which is a shame. The fries are decent but ok.

I liked everything except the cup of cheese to go with my chilli cheese fries. And something about the lettuce or onions has that taste of like I can’t explain the after taste but next time I’ll get mine on the side cause it put a funky after taste to my burger and me and girl didn’t like it we both said the same thing and that’s not good. But the burger was good besides that staff was nice and all. Just that after taste threw the veggies like a chemical or sonething ruined it. But I’ll go again and see if they can fix that problem and it made me shit automatically when I got home but I’m sure it was that funky taste

I have been eating here for almost 20 years. The food is consistently delicious! It’s a great inexpensive burger. I recommend the double cheeseburger meal.

It’s easy to tell the best thing about this easily-overlooked burger stand is their prices, but with so many other burger restaurants doing things even marginally better, you’d have to really be pinching pennies to make a justification for Southeast. The patties may be cooked to order, but they certainly didn’t taste too fresh, and were bland as all get-out. Fries and onion rings were frozen, too, though the onion rings were done well enough for me to eat them all. Can’t say the same for the rest of the meal. But yes, it certainly was cheap.

SE Carryout has un-beatable prices. About $ 4.50 for a double-cheeseburger(the patties are probably ¼ lbs), fries, and a fountain drink. The meat seems to be pre-formed and possible frozen(still pretty good though) and re-fills are half price(read: not free). The burgers are very dressed up with lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes(nice touch). Fast service, clean, inexpensive.

Southeast carryout is a local legend. Their hamburgers may not compare with a sit down diner, but when compared with fast food places, it beats them all hands down. For under $ 5 they offer the«Special». The special includes a 1⁄3 lb hamburger, fries and a drink. The burgers are cooked fresh and the buns are toasted. For a local legend in the fast food realm, Southeast Carryout is the best in town.

Here’s one I came across through word of mouth from a co-worker. Said it was the best burger he’s had. And after trying it for myself, it’s obvious that he hasn’t been to many burger joints. Their burger was decent, got a double cheese, fries, and drink for around $ 5. Quality was on par with a Wendy’s. Worth a stop if you in the neighborhood but I wouldn’t go hunt this one out.
