I called one month in advance to make a reservation for a group of 15 people. They told us that they would be open and that we only needed to make a reservation one week in advance. I told my group that the date was set and we cleared our calendar for the event. Everyone was quite excited.
I called again one week in advance and they told me that they had changed their mind and that they would be closed that day. They also said that I needed «2 – 3 weeks advance notice this time of year.»
The owner wasn’t polite on the phone and blew me off and disappointed 15 people who had been planning on the event for a month.
