I disagree with the review that says there are «many better malls in kansas» The only better mall in the state would be Oak Park mall in Overland Park as the rest are all smaller or dying. This mall has a nice selection of stores and was beautifully renovated a few years ago. I fell safe at this mall and have never had any problems. People in Wichita just complain because they think they deserve more than what this mall has to offer and in some ways they’re right, but this mall has Von Maur and it’s more upscale then any macys i’ve ever been in.

There are some great stores in here. I am glad that seem to be trying to keep up with the bigger towns. Compared to Towne West it is soooooo much nicer! I like that there is always plenty of parking. There is food upstairs and downstairs now. You have to try Beard Papa’s. It’s my new favorite!

I always prefer Towne East over Towne West just because it is a little nicer and has a wider selection of stores. It’s always fairly busy, which is a good thing for a mall. The food court is pretty nice, as well. I just can’t justify giving more than three stars when comparing to other malls I’ve been to. For Wichita, though, this is the place to go for your general shopping needs.

I find this mall alive and doing well. Definitely a better mall than Towne West Mall.
This one is a two story mall with the food court in the middle.
Store/Shop wise you will find your average stores you find in most malls with the exception that I noted more unique stores than most malls I’ve visited.
Also of note in regards to the previous reviews, I saw many families with young children in the mall. Whatever negative light was seen in the previous reviews was not see today.

«Gangs» and «violence» were why I wasn’t allowed to hang out at the mall with the other 12 year olds.
I wasn’t too surprised. I could see how this place could drive a person to violence.
Still better than Towne West, though.
