We all understand that Habitat for Humanity does great things for communities nationwide. However, their«Restore» thrift shops seems more like an overpriced yard sale than anything else. Tons of home renovation stuff like light fixtures, tile, doors, sinks, toilets, etc. At least a dozen TVs and mattresses, which no one seems to buy. They have an «antique» section in which they sell furniture, etc. for a WHOLE lot more than I’d be willing to pay. They do not ever negotiate prices, of which nearly all are overpriced. Rusted out bikes with unusable tires and cracking brake lines will run you $ 30— just to give you an idea. I’d rather spend my time(and money) at the Soroptomist Thrift Store.

Used to be a great place to spend your money because you could always get items at great prices. I am not sure who is setting prices, but whoever it is needs to be taught the difference between used and new prices. The prices have gotten ridiculous for a second hand type store. i have literally seen used items here that they were asking more than you could buy the items new retail. Have not gotten a decent deal here in quite a while.
