My husband and I decided to do a low key rehearsal dinner so what better than pizza and salad?! We have been going to gregorys for pizza for a couple of years now and we really like their pizza so they were the obvious choice. I called and said that we would need two party sized pizzas and a salad they were more than willing to accommodate us. We arrived and the salad was waiting for us as promised. All of us were pretty hungry and went through the salad quickly so my husband asked the waitress for another. BIGMISTAKE!!! We got the bill and i nearly died. 120 dollars for salad. 59.00 dollars for a freaking bowl of salad. Are you kidding me?! We said this to the owner and she couldn’t understand our shock. She acted like it was normal to charge this exorbitant amount and refused to take any money off the bill. I am not cheap and I do not mind spending money on good food but 120 for salad is where i draw the line. Not to mention we had spent a fair amount on drinks at the bar. Needless to say we will not be back.

I used to eat here. Then on one visit I went to the bathroom. Kitchen door was open and I saw how dirty the kitchen was. I have not been back since.

It was my first time there and the the food was tasty, I ordered spaghetti with hot sausage, on that day the luncheon specials came with a cup of egg drop soup. The soup was very good, although I would have preferred it hotter, the spaghetti sauce was better than average and there where two very nice pieces of hot sausage. Service was adequate, friendly and my food arrived quickly, all in all this was a good stop for a quick lunch.

Local Italian pizza and pasta place. It’s been in business for a long time and has it’s followers. The pizza is cut into squares which has always bugged me. Pizza should be crispy enough to grab a slice and fold the ends so you can eat in from the point. It also depends on who is making the pizza that night, which is a major problem in my book. I had the meatball grinder(sub for any non New Englanders) and it was large. Large meatballs in a half of Italian bread with cheese and peppers. The meatballs were tasteless. I brought home half and was only to happy to throw it out the next day. Everything was wrong. Meatballs that big need to be sliced otherwise you will be wearing it. Meat to bread ratio was off. I think it came with pale french fries. You want to support the local guys, but I don’t think they care anymore. Come on guys, you can do better.

Best pizza ever! They use fresh veggies. The sauce and crust are fantastic. I search for this quality of pizza everywhere I go but no one makes it like theses guys. The eggplant parm is also amazing.

Pizza was good but was not outstanding which was a shame. I have ordered there twice so far and have not been disappointed. If anything they need to add to there pizza selection and create more speciality pizzas.

Yet another groupon to be used so we went out to Gregories. We went out on a Sunday night at 7:00 and the place was really quiut. Our server was very attentive. As I read the reviews before I started mine, one thing I did notice was that it was cold inside. Another reviewer said the same thing. The food was OK. Portions are ample although a bit pricey. My wife had the lasagna and I had Brocolli Chicken Alfredo. The Lasagna is just OK and the order of alfredo was a tad better than fair. I got some brocolli leaves but no real brocolli to speak of. The Alfredo sauce was more of a paste than a sauce. The dinner came with a appetizer(we had a shrimp stuffed Potabello mushroom.) The mushroom was good, the stuffing was pretty much all bread. They gave us a piece of cake for desert. This was the smallest slice I’ve ever seen and all for only 4.50. Even the frosting was fair. My wife summed this up best. The food was mediocre. An appetizer, fair, two entrees — Fair, 2 cups of coffee(well a cup and half actually, fair) and desert(Poor) — 54 and change. Perhaps their pizza is excellant. These two entrée’s leave alot to be desired.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I like the food, it’s classic Italian, portion sizes are good, prices are a bit high but you always have 2 days worth of food so I don’t complain much about that… However I suggest take out if you order from there. The restaurant is dark and dreary, and freezing cold inside ALWAYS. the staff is rude and unfriendly.

We visited Gregory’s tonight and got a large pizza. The crust was amazing and the sauce was tasty and sweet. I would definitely order from here again.

I can only rate their pizza, but I will tell you that it is the pizza to which I hold the standard of all other pizzas I ever eat. Why? I grew up eating Pizza Pub’s pizza and I’m happy to say that not much has changed with it throughout the years. We always get their combo pizza, which has a perfect blend of pepperoni, hamburg, mushrooms and green peppers. Their crust is just the right thickness, with light and flaky bubbles around the edges. This pizza is never skimpy on the cheese and has a great blend that I’m sure includes Parmesan or Romano. I now live 90 miles away from Pizza Pub(Full name Gregory’s Restaurant and Pizza Pub) but whenever I have the chance, I call ahead and pick up a pizza on the way home. In fact tonight I even programmed their number into my cell phone. Now to persuade my husband to make a detour off the Mass Pike next time we’re passing through Wilbraham…

Traveling through Wilbraham on a quiet Sunday night, I decided to stop for dinner at Gregory’s Restaurant & Pizza Pub. This Italian American restaurant has a lounge & full bar with TVs(typical local bar) and two spacious casual dining rooms with tables and booths. The menu offerings include grinders, wraps, salads, soups, Italian dinners, pizza, calzones(with ricotta or mozzarella), seafood, chicken, steaks, pork chops, prime rib, fried appetizers, wings, and desserts. The prices are moderate, most dinner entrees $ 12.50-$ 19.75. Prime rib is served all day and everyday for $ 13.99 and daily specials are offered. They had Swedish meatballs & noodles on special, or «aka» a «manager’s special» served at a very big«blue & yellow» furniture store. For starters, the bowl of Onion Rings($ 3.95) were deep fried golden, sweet rings of onions in a crispy batter outside, not greasy. The thick slices of warm bread were soft with a crumbly texture. Next, the cup of Chicken Gumbo Soup(included with dinner) had a mix of vegetables, chicken, andoulle sausage, & soft shell pasta in a spicy tomato broth, saltine crackers on the side. For dinner, the Pub’s Lasagna($ 13.50)(served hot on a big plate) was a good sized piece with layers of soft noodles, ricotta cheese, ground sausage, chunky tomatoes, and plenty of sweet tomato sauce inside & outside and topped with melted mozzarella cheese. I barely finished up my dinner and skipped on the dessert, which included choices of chocolate chip cheesecake and black forest cake. The food overall was very good and tasty. The service was acceptable and the food courses were served in a staged fashion(approximately 10 minutes between each course), appetizer first, then bread and soup, followed by the entrée. The friendly waitress checked up on my meal a few times. I would give Gregory’s Restaurant & Pizza Pub a solid 4 stars.
