This place needs to keep up with the times! I’ve gone here for years and just got used to the fact that they always have the same ten flavors. Every now n then they’ll throw you a bone and switch out one or two flavors. There is too much competition out there to remain so stagnant and complacent. Yes their portions are huge and they are fairly inexpensive but I’d rather pay more elsewhere and get a flavor that’s actually worth eating. I stopped going here for that reason and recently went back after taking a year long break and to my surprise they still had the same 10 flavors. What a shocker! Not! Chocolate, chocolate malt, vanilla, cake batter, strawberry, peanut butter, peanut butter cup, some sort of sorbet, salted caramel, and coffee. Why have two different types of anything??? Coffee or Coffee latte, peanut butter or peanut butter cup, chocolate or chocolate malt. Common!!! There’s no real distinguishing difference between the two. They all taste the same! This place is a drag.

The only reason I’m giving this yogurt place a 4 star review is because they’re flavors are pretty boring. They always have the same flavors: chocolate malt, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, a coffee of some sort, usually peanut butter and peanut butter cup and then they’ll rotate cake batter, salted caramel and something fruity. We go here because you just can’t beat the price. They serve your yogurt but they’re very generous. Plus they have buy 1 get 1 coupons that come in the mail. Wednesday’s, you can get 4 regular sized yogurts for $ 10 and Thursday’s are double stamp day on your reward card. My husband and I can usually walk out of there spending $ 4 for two yogurts and when our stamp card is full, 2 yogurts for free.(When combining the buy one get one and the free yogurt earned on our punch card)

You’re employees need to be told NOT to charge people for an extra topping when they aren’t asked if they want one. I can’t tell you how many times I have ordered the same exact thing. Regular with ONE topping. I am either charged $ 4.80 or $ 4.45. After several months, today, May 5, 2015 at 2:30 I decided to ask. AFTERSHECHARGEDTHE $ 4.80. I said shouldn’t a regular size with one topping only be $ 4.45? She said«yes.» I said then why did you charge me more? She said because I put«two scoops.» I said did I ask for two scoops? She said NO! I said all I asked for was a regular with granola. It’s her problem if she added another scoop of granola. I didn’t ask for it. This sounds so petty but I’m so fed up over it. PLEASETELLYOUREMPLOYEESTONOTOVERCHARGEPEOPLEFORANEXTRATOPPINGJUSTBECAUSETHEYCHHOSETOPUTTWOSCOOPS. And then charge for an extra topping! RIDICULOUS!!!

Just went to this Golden Spoon and the two girls behind the counter were less than polite when we asked them a question about our receipt. They began to laugh at us which is totally inappropriate. I understand how hard it is to work in the service industry. however, you do not laugh at a customer with a question, no matter what. Especially when they’re right there standing in front of you! Way to make your customers feel unwelcome.

This Golden Spoon has been the place to go for my friend and me and they’re always generous with their portions AND nice. This review is about my recent experience. I came around lunch because I had a «get one free» card. Service: Upon entering I knew this would be an unpleasant experience, given that this kid didn’t even greet us and he was doing whatever on his phone. I ordered a mini cup with strawberry, vanilla and almonds for the topping. He filled the bottom with almonds almost to the brim of the cup and added the dinkiest portions of yogurt I’ve ever seen. I gave him my card and he took it, I said«thanks,» and he took out his phone again and went into the back. I took the first scoop of yogurt. Whole thing topples over and onto my hands and the table. I guess it was the amount of almonds he put in the bottom or that I’m so forceful in my scraping. I was already angry that I just threw it away. I even cleaned the table for him. At least it was free… Someone needs to teach this kid how to make a decent cup of yogurt and better service PLS. will update later.

I love the quality of the frozen yogurt here. Although the selection is limited when compared to other self-serve yogurt places, I prefer this place because I feel the texture and flavors are much better. I love the portions and the topping choices. This place does deserve 5 stars but I feel the service is okaaay. And sometimes certain toppings and flavors aren’t available.

The frozen yogurt here is very good and I’ve never had bad service. They serve the ice cream and they do the toppings for you rather than a serve yourself style. I like this because people don’t have the dirty hands contaminating everything. There’s not much seating. One or two tiny tables inside and some outside tables.

This is the best frozen yogurt you can find in the area. We come here often in the evenings especially on Wednesdays when they have their special. the frozen yogurt is always excellent the flavors are great and they change them often. the portions are huge generally more than I can eat and the toppings a really great. my favorite is sweet and salty caramel with coffee flavored. its nice to sit outside with my girls on a warm summer night and just watch the people go by and eat your yogurt. And by the way the girls that work in the shop for all just drop dead beautiful. So we get something sweet for the tummy and the eyes !

Cute little froyo place near Lake Elsinore. It’s not self serve, but they are generous with toppings and yogurt! I got two flavors in a small cup, which was really more like a large! The whole cup was filled and there was at least 3 more inches of froyo piled on top. There are a good number of flavors and tons of toppings to choose from. The yogurt was really creamy and flavorful. If I lived closer I’d definitely make this place a regular stop!

I rarely give a 5 star rating, so this place as far as frozen yogurt goes is hands down the best of its kind. First of all, sizing is very generous– I.e. a «Small» is actually quite large. Secondly, the choices are terrific — the chocolate is rich(almost like gelato), the cake batter is yummy, and there’s a rotating selection of fruity delights that are full of flavor. They have a customer loyalty program, so you will get a free serving once you get your card stamped 8 times. On Wednesdays, there’s a volume discount — 4 «Small» servings for $ 10 — what a deal! This is a very good place to treat your kids. Seating is rather limited though.

Anyone who knows me knows that I eat more frozen yogurt than should be legal, and this is the place I go the most. While I am guilty of frequenting the newly popular self-serve yogurt shops, being that they allow me to grab a paint bucket sized cup and fill it with as much yogurt and smashed cookies and candies that I desire, Golden Spoon still remains my favorite place. While you don’t get to do it yourself, the yogurt is smoother, creamier, and tastes more like yogurt should. Often times at the pay-per-ounce places I feel like I am eating that all you can eat ice milk at the sizzler salad bar… you know the crap I’m talking about. Great when you’re a kid. Not so much now. Go to Golden Spoon. Higher Quality Product, and the kids behind the counter are nice, too.
