Boardwalk Bar and Grill

Food is ok. What you’d expect for bar food. As the French would say, «comme ci, comme cas». The two friends I was with had the tramcar drink and enjoyed it. Best part, as always, is the early evening Saturday entertainment. Tommy Zito, the piano man, is as good an entertainer as you will find. He treats everyone in the place like they are his best friend. Well worth the trip, highly recommended. 5 stars for Tommy, 3 stars for the food, and 4 stars for the staff and service = a nice 4 star average.

I really hated leaving this review, because everyone that works there are really nice people. But we had to give a more realistic review so other people don’t think this is a good place to stop and get a meal
We went during dinner time and the entire place was empty. That was a red flag, but we went in anyway. The food was just terrible. We didn’t drink at all, which based on past reviews, seems like a good time. Maybe the bartenders are really good and fun. But for just eating at a restaurant, it was terrible. The food tasted funny and seemed to just be cheap overall. Just terrible food, bottom line. Maybe come here to drink or chat with the people that work there. But do not eat there.

Daytime shade from a hot summer day and a couple of beers. Not much else to say, the bartender was too worried about the server that didn’t show and the cook kept coming out to tell customers why it would take so long for their food. Mediocre beer selection but a big place with pool would probably make it a good place to go with friends if your bringing your own party.

Omg this bar is so much fun!!! The bartender is a little rusty with the drinks but Is a clown with his day job and is a riot. Got us drunk and we had a great time!!! Highly recommended :)

Food is very good, crab cakes has big chunks of crabmeat. The cheese steak is good. Would eat here again

Stopped in for drinks after dinner on a Sunday night in the offseason (late September). There were only two other people in the place, but the bartender acted as if it was just a another rocking night. He was great and had the four us going with his stories. We were having so much fun that we ended up staying for more drinks than we had planned. This was not an issue, since we were not driving.

I’ve been there a few times. This is not one of the ‘classy’ WW bars, this is a sketchy old man bar — good for people watching and when you pop in when you are already drunk. We went sober for happy hour– they have $ 2 well drinks and some bottles, can’t beat that, and they were decent too. The bartender was super nice too– so points for that. The place is huge so you will always find a seat and table which is great because a lot of these shore spots fill up.
At happy hour we made the mistake of ordering a half price app — not sure if they make the portion extra small because it is happy hour (which they obvs should not do), but either way it was normall $ 6.95 for 3 undercooked jalepeno poppers and some, I mean like 15, mostly cold fries. i was an idiot to order food from a place ‘like that’ anyway. It is like bad carnival food. If you want food, good food, esp at happy hour — go half a block away to Jersey Girl or Neils — amazing food and deals.
But if you want really cheap drinks from plastic cups, some entertainment, even if there is no band or karaōke, the people watching will suffice. Ive been there for karaōke too– which was a hoot — all the interesting people come out to play for that.

Why does this place have 4 stars!!! Holy crap. We were in town for the half marathon and we had just gotten to town and were starving. I Unilocaled and saw that this place was close and we decided to try it out. We walked in and the place was huge and had pool tables in the back, which was cool. But when we sat down the menus looked like they had never been cleaned before, they served wine out of a box and half of their menu appeared to be crossed off. We decided to only order beer, nachos and mozz sticks. The nachos were like stadium nachos: almost stale round tortilla chips and gross cheese wiz. Nothing else. The mozz sticks weren’t terrible, but were super greasy. We decided to leave and head to Cattle and Clover, which was AMAZING.
The only reason why I gave 1 star was because of the bill. 3 beers, nachos and mozz sticks for $ 13. Pretty freaking cheap. But I guess you get what you pay for, right?

The shot girls were walking around with free shots of Red Stag Whiskey. Get the Tram Car drink, it tastes good They had a great shuffle board and two pool tables. They have great drink specials (try the suck-​it-​bucket) and are open every night until three a.m. The food was excellent.

Wa watch the «tram car drink» go in my mouth! Get the Tram Car drink. It is so good! This is my one of my favorite bars in Wildwood. Cheap food, cheap drinks. The servers are friendly. Anyways they left and I didn’t get a tee shirt that they were giving out but I think it was the owner or manger gave me a free Bud light tee shirt. How awesome is that?! BTW after I had my free shot I brought some shots and they were cheap also. I think it was $ 3. If you come to Wildwood you really should come to this bar!

On our three day trip to Wildwood, my boyfriend and I visited the Boardwalk Bar and Grill three times because we had such a good time. The crowd is older early in the evening and younger late. Two nights there was very entertaining live music with no cover. Check out the funny piano guy Tommy Zito! They had a great shuffle board and two pool tables. They have great drink specials (try the suck-​it-​bucket) and are open every night until three a.m. The food was excellent… I tried the turkey club and the chicken parm… I highly recommend both!

Well, they do have a dance floor… but seriously.
Plenty of seating and an extensive menu for your liking. My boyfriend is one of the few, the proud that were able to finish the one pound burger. The cheese fries are amazing. If you are going for just a good time, want to listen to a local band, this is the place. Not one ounce of romance or quiet to be found. But, it is great.
There is (or at least was) a waitress that looked exactly like Lady Gaga. hair, nails, clothing, everything… that was actually scary. Definitely not fun to look at when you’re eating.
It is worth checking out if you are in the area. It is so cheap too.

My brother in law was asked to fill in on guitar with a band on Saturday of Biker weekend. This bar is located right smack in the middle of all of the action. Bikers and biker mommas everywhere. Bikes lined up as far as the eye could see and it was packed. We snagged a table and settled in. The beer selection was your regular run of the mill big boys of the industry and prices were good. Although all we ordered were wings which were big and meaty, we saw a lot of sandwiches being delivered to tables and they looked good. The service was good and we did have a good time while we were there.
