Well… it’s Corny Island Corn, not Coney Island Corn… but it’s pretty damned good! We always walk by it, and my wife mentioned it a few times, but just hadn’t really gotten around to it. So today we were on the boardwalk grabbing some food, and I said«I’m gonna go check it out.» Ended up grabbing some fresh lemonade, bottle of soda, and two ears of baked corn that let me tell you were DELICIOUS! First was a spicy Cajun ear of corn buttered with God knows what kind of goodness and spicy Cajun seasoning(could have been spicier, but I understand the general publics taste buds are wimps.) The second one I was a bit not sure of… Mexican Corn: an ear of corn slathered in mayo, covered in Parmesan cheese and chili powder. There’s nothing I can say about it that anyone will believe, so I’ll just say you have to try it. It sounds really weird, but was an amazing combination. Not sure what their after-labor day schedule is gonna be like. But we’ll definitely be grabbing corn there again.
