The greatest french fries in the world. Dress with salt, apple cider vinegar, and other bevy of other condiments.(Curley’s does not discriminate against condiments like certain fry spots in other shore towns). They pair perfectly with pizza from Sam’s Pizza Palace across the boardwalk. 25th street location is always consistent and well managed. Outdoor dining area is always very clean. To sum things up, let me reiterate — these are the world’s greatest french fries.

Best fries on the boardwalk! And everywhere else. I have been going here since I was a kid. Buckets are getting much smaller but the fries are always fantastic. I hate that they water down there vinegar now, but still worth it. If the didn’t water down the vinegar they would have gotten five stars from me.

I was looking so forward to trying these fries after reading all the excellent reviews, but I was utterly disappointed!!! They were so bland and undercooked that i even asked them to take them back and give me fries from the next batch. Unfortunately they were just as terrible. No amount of cheese, ketchup or vinegar could fix them. There are so many other Boardwalk fries places mere feet away that blow this place out of the water. Don’t waste your money and calories on this place — not worth it!

Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! I got the Chicken Fritters, fries, and lemonade. I’m somewhat of a chicken fingers connoisseur, I’ve had many a chicken finger in my life and these were hands-down the best. The fries were really good dipped in the cheese and the ketchup, but without a sauce they really didn’t wow me. The lemonade was sour which is how I do like my lemonade, so if you’re thinking of chick-fil-a lemonade, this is not that so do keep that in mind.

Awesome fries. A summer tradition going back many years. Love sprinkling vinegar on my fries. We just tried the cilantro cream sauce and it was delicious. My kids also enjoy the fries. The shake ups are also great. We usually get the Orange.

Fries, fries and more fries! Get them here by the bucketfull! They’re very good but beware of the seagulls! A friend of mying was attacked when a seagull swooped down and grabbed the entire bucket, knocking it out of his hands. A seagull swarm ensued and it was quite a scene. Buy them and hold them close to your body. And try to enjoy them with a nice cold lemonade…

Those fresh, homemade thick-cut fries, possibly the best fries in wildwood, if not the world! Soft and fluffy from the inside, gold and crispy from the outside. A curly fries awakening! The working staff were so friendly and nice even with the long line, Curley’s Rocks! Even when they say sorry for your WAIT and what they actually meant WEIGHT! Just kidding, don’t eat it every day though lol! Do you still wonder why I love this place? I wouldn’t have thought that ordering chicken tender, and old bay fries would have blown my mind. Well, not literally;) Four solid curly Unilocal

Now, they are fries and they’re on the boardwalk but they’re *not* «boardwalk style fries» which always makes me long for the real thing back in OC Maryland, but I have to admit, they are great. I try to judge each thing on its own merit and not condemn it simply because it’s not some other thing which is why I give it as many stars are Thrasher’s. But just like the real thing in OC, they do serve they DO have the vinegar which makes them even better. I think it comes as a surprise to most that there’s not even curly. They are hard to resist though.

Fresh hand cut fries cooked to perfection. Adds some malt vinegar and some hot sauce maybe some cheese a nd I am a happy boy. When I get to boardwalk it is a must have. One of my favorite things down in the ‘Woods’. My favorite is the location on at Moreys Pier, not the one at Mariners Landing. They might be the same but not to me.

I don’t eat fried food, but curlys is a local thing and that’s worth 5 stars for me. Expect to pay $ 7 – 8 for a bowl of these fries, but they’re not like mass produced fries at all. These are about 4 times thicker than McDonald’s fries and shaped the way crinkle fries are. They also have good lemonade! It used to be family owned but now Morey’s owns it. You can either take that as power hoarding or as Morey’s refusing to let a good thing die when curly hit some hard times. I want to think the latter — they gave Sams a lot of money when they burned down a few years ago to help them too !

Other than the Kohr’s ice cream, Curley’s fries are my ultimate boardwalk treat. All I need is a bucket of these fries, a little vinegar and the best lemonade on the boardwalk and my day is made.

Best fries ever. I have gone to the shore pretty much just for these before.

Year after year(and even states away), I always come running back to the nostalgic french fries of my childhood. Since 1978, Curley’s in Wildwood, not to be confused with the one on the Ocean City Boardwalk, has been treating tourists and locals alike with their perfect little golden delights. These crinkle-cut babies are the real deal. A simple, hand-cut fresh Idaho potato is the magical vegetable behind these lightly salted gems. Sure, they may be a bit overpriced, but you’ll forget all about that as you dip a mound of ‘em into a cup of vinegar and then right into your kisser. Nothing like a peanut oil soaked, crunchy on the outside, oh-so-soft on the inside, fry. Trust me, they’re the bee’s knees! Whether it’s before or after the entire Mack’s Pizza you plan on devouring, a trip to the boardwalk isn’t complete without a stop at Curley’s. A true authentic boardwalk tradition!

THEBEST fries. I’m not sure if its the satisfaction of grabbing a bucket of Curley’s fries after a long successful day at the water park or the fact that they are fresh cut everyday but the fries are absolutely amazing. If you’ve never tried them with vinegar then venture out of your comfort zone because it is most definitely worth it. The prices are a little high but there’s no where else you are going to get fries like these. I only get them once or twice a year when I’m down on the board walk and I look forward to it every year. They are crispy yet soft on the inside and all around delicious. Each barrel is filled with warm soft fries and the best little crunchy fries. I just cannot get enough.

YESYESYES! If you are a French fry connoisseur(like myself) you already know or should know that Curley’s French Fries are everything you could want in a French fry– they are absolute perfection :) These fries are freshly cut thick crinkle style potatoes that are fried in 100% peanut oil and then seasoned with salt. Their chunky cut allow them to crispy perfectly on the outside while the inside stays soft. The crowds of hungry customers also keep this spot cranking out fresh french fries all the time so you are guaranteed hot fries. Skip the small container and upgrade to a bucket for $ 1 or if you’re really ambitious conquer the barrel of french fries! Pair them up with a side of hot melted cheese for $ 2 or complimentary ketchup, hot sauce, or malt vinegar. Curley’s does more than just french fries too. Try one of their signature Lemon Shake-ups in a collectible cup $ 4.50 with discounted refills $ 2.25.

You can’t come to Wildwood and not get a barrel of Curley’s Fries. It doesn’t get simpler than this. Watch as they take a few fresh Idaho potatoes, put them in a medieval-looking, hand-cranked contraption, then throw the thick, crinkly-cut spuds into and out of the fryer, give them a healthy sprinkle of salt, and then toss them into a bucket. For all of this work you will pay a ridiculous amount of money for this bucket of fries, but you won’t complain once you start stuffing your face with them. Hot sauce and vinegar on the side for those who like to spice their fries up.

Just go, the fries are good. I always tend to give a little extra credit to a place where you can see the process from start to finish, so literally you can watch as they chop up the potatoes in the back to the fryer to the bin to your mouth. Line usually moves pretty quick and some of the seating right there has umbrellas in case you need a break from the sun. I think this location is better than the one at the other pier(Mariners or whatever they are calling it these days), maybe because the amount of traffic they do? Wish they had a year round location, for those off season visits to the shore.

Hands down the best french fries on planet Earth. How many places actually make french fries from real potatoes in front of these days? There are two types of Curley’s Fries in each bucket– the thick, soft potatoey ones and the little, thin crunchy ones. You will know when you have met your soulmate when he prefers the opposite type and there are no finger fights over your favorite fries.

I had a list on my most recent trip to Wildwood of must eats on the boardwalk. Indulge in Mack’s Pizza whenever possible… check. Waffle and ice cream sandwich… check. Something fried that really shouldn’t be fried for health reasons(in this case Fried Oreos)… check. Really good fudge… check. Fresh cut boardwalk fries… check. Curley’s became the go to place. I don’t remember if I came here as a kid or not. But I was going to be certain to get some this trip. And I figured something out. Not only are the fries tremendous(really, they are every bit as good as you expect them to be), the lemonade goes perfect with them, and the chicken fingers aren’t too bad either. It wound up being a perfect lunch choice. These really are the fries that made boardwalk fries famous.
