50’s atmosphere with today’s prices. Paid almost $ 7 for a medium ice cream in a chocolate dipped cone. I’m not cheap and I don’t mind paying for quality but you think they could make it look like a medium. The top was flat with no scoop. I felt ripped off. I’ve paid less for more at other vacation town ice cream paroles

Probably one of the worst spots on the boardwalk, Idk for a fact that they make their own ice cream but either way it’s not good at all. For some reason there are just big chunks or ice that hasn’t been mixed in enough. It’s like they added more ice to the ice cream and didn’t mix it all the way. Another thing is the really bad service. The ice cream parlor is on the very end of the boardwalk and it’s not very busy at all, but for them a group of 5 people is to much. They rush you to make a decision so they can go back to talking or texting on the phone.

Our favorite ice cream spit! So clean and everyone is friendly. Their ice cream is Richman’s and is very good! There is plenty of outside seating which is great. We love Hassles’s!

Its probably closer to three and a half stars, but I like rounding up!(And I know I can be a bit of an ice cream snob.) It smells like delicious waffles when you walk in. I had a waffle ice cream sandwich with«cowbell» ice cream in between two Belgian waffles. Neither were all that special, but together they were pretty good. The price was good for the quantity –definitely shareable for two. I only ate the ice cream, but my friends said they enjoyed the mini golf, particularly the moving obstacles. There is seating inside and outside, great space to hang out for a bit. Cash only, ATM outside.

Yum, yum, yum. Great sundae shop with all the traditional and many non-traditional toppings choices. The first visit, we got a banana split and the second visit, we got a half waffle sundae to share. The sundaes are huge — we split them three ways and still had leftover. The ice cream was fresh, and the toppings were good quality. The waffle is fresh out of the iron! Definitely hit the spot.

Smells amazing, but the Richman’s ice cream they serve didn’t really stand out in a sundae. I thought it tasted kind of average. The waffles really did smell delicious so maybe that is what we should have had.

Good place to take the family. Enjoyed a round of mini-golf, not an overly flashy course — but clean and well maintained. Enjoyed ice-cream — large servings, reasonably priced… and even rented one of those big bikes made for 5! The staff was nice enough to push it up on the boards for us. Bike was in excellent working order. All of this is right off of the Boardwalk. Only giving 4 stars because it is a cash only establishment. They have an ATM machine out front of the ice-cream shop, but in this day and age… all businesses need to have credit card access in their stores!

our family go to ice cream parlor when we vacation in the summer on the island. Thanks you for being as clean and nice as you are hassles!

There are a ton of ice cream places on the island, but this one really stands out. The reason it stands out… the WAFFLES!!! You can smell the waffles cooking from outside. The sudaes are delicous and have names like the Brown Derby and the Dune Buggy, but the waffle sandwiches are sublime. Truth be told they don’t make their own ice cream like some of the other places boust about, but being homemade doesn’t really seem to add anything and Hassles isn’t as touristy. Service is friendly and quick and they always have free ice cold water. Quick tip: You can park in their lot for free if you are going to the ice cream place or the golf course.

This place is up the street from my house, and they have everything! It’s a fun mini-golf course, a bike rental place, a parking lot, and an ice cream parlor. They’re as reasonably priced as you can get on the boardwalk, and the staff is friendly and talented, it’s a family-run business and they hire the same workers every year. I’ve been coming here for years and I have never had a negative experience.
