Best breakfast at the shore! I love the fresh fruit and apple cinnamon swirl pancakes! The service is super fast and friendly. I wait all winter for Samuel’s to open up so I can get my strawberry kiss french toast with extra whip!

I have been wishing to write this review sooner but never got around to it. We stayed at Montego Bay across the street and saw a bunch of people waiting outside for breakfast. I figured it must be good right? And that is was! We oddly only had to wait 5 minutes being the place was packed for a 4th of July weekend breakfast. The service was awesome and it seemed like everyone there was so happy and cheerful. My girlfriend had the tiramisu French toast and I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes. They were amazing and very tasty. I have been coming to Wildwood for years now and never had this gem until now. Next time I’m in North Wildwood this will be my go to spot for breakfast.

I have gone to Samuels many times in years past. This summer I went a couple of times and was a bit disappointed as meals just weren’t up to previous years. I also can not believe they have resorted to watering down the ketchup. That’s such a letdown and I’m not sure I will be returning next summer.

Removed a star due to consistency. Our last visit there they had a peach pancake special and basically dumped canned peaches on top of pancakes. Also, be aware that the drinks are pricey and no free refills.

Pancakes werent the greatest, and parking literally sucks. We had to park over a mile down the road and pay 6 dollars to get 3 hours of parking. The woman who helped us was great, very kind and she was quick to get our drinks and orders in. The scrapple was very, very salty compared to other scrapple ive had but in total it was a decent experience.

It’s a pancake house, but I got the Eggs Jefferson(Ham & Cheese) with some hot sauce on the side. I didn’t make a bad decision. I just regret not getting those Smores pancakes. Next time! 4 stars because parking sucks.

Only giving a four stars because of the parking situation. You have to park across the street on a busy day and the guy chases you to pay $ 3 for parking. Other than that this place was amazing we had a fantastic waitress named Diane whose suggestions did not disappoint us. I had apple cinnamon swirl pancakes OMG! Amazing it comes with cream cheese frosting to pile on top. I also had scrapple yum! First time having it and it was delish! I’m not from the area so having a pancake house other then ihop was awesome! I definitely recommend Sams

Terrible food and way over priced. They used to be good years ago and now they suck. Toast was burnt under the chipped beef and that was dry, the thick piece of pork roll tasted like salt got poured all over it. Never again.

Nice place, same as it was 25 years ago when I came here as a kid. Pancakes were good and service was fast. $ 45 for 2 adults 3 kids, so its decently priced.

Best pancakes I’ve ever had ! I suggest getting the plantation which was pineapple pecans and coconut it was really to die for. The people there are super nice too!

Love love love this place, we eat there all the time while in wildwood., I only give it a 4 because every time I order eggs, they don’t seem to get over hard, means yoke is hard, needs to be fully cooked… But I love everything else. Highly recommend…

This is the first stop on our vacation, my wife and I always leave Pittsburgh at midnight or 1am so as to avoid any traffic or delays, that is 37 years of experience, and from the day we start planning our vacation we talk about breakfast at Samuels, without a doubt you are close you need to stop in and have pancakes and one of their fabulous omelets, the western is my favorite.

For being called a pancake house, the pancakes weren’t that great. I was pretty disappointed. I happen to be a huge pancake fan and I was looking forward to the 5 large«buttermilk» beauties but they fell awfully short of my expectations. Perhaps too much baking soda judging by all the air bubbles in the final product. We also had the crepes which seemed to have way too much yolk added to their batter. The best item we had was the fiesta chicken quesadilla which had a great balance of flavors, shredded chicken and cheese. Really a 2.5 star spot but the staff was really nice at the takeout window to get the 3…

Great place! Clean, everyone moving fast and getting people fed quickly exactly what I like to see! Food was yummy! N I’m very picky! My own problem is that the toast was dry but I guess I should have asked for it to be buttered immediately! Yum! I just had eggs n bacon and the bf had smoores pancakes! They were good even with no sauce! The fruit platter was well worth the $ 6.95

My eggs and pancakes were just ok, came with homemade warm maple syrup, and the portions were huge. Brie, my waitress was attentive and pleasant, and didn’t seem to be bothered by my lingering at the table, even though by the time I was done there was a long line outside. Three Unilocal

I am brokenhearted over Samuels. Had dirty grill flavored pancakes, french toast like I’ve never seen before, totally yuck. Extra star from last year because out waitress was attentive and kind. Sad that this yearly shore tradition is no long good! Only went back this time because the kids were begging for the candy store. May skip the breakfast and just hit up the candy, which is also no where near as fun as it once was. Candy store now small and filled with tchotchkes you can find everywhere else. :(

Love this place! There is plenty to choose from besides pancakes, but that is what we come here for. If we had to wait it wasn’t long(usually arrive around 10am). I had both PB chip pancakes and some type of cinnamon bun ones that were awesome. My mom liked the gift shop attached to it.

So… i think this place is a bit overrated, but it’s close to my shore house and they have to go ordering(thank goodness bc who wants to wait in that line when they’re hungry/hungover), which saves me the time of cooking myself. The fruit platter is the one thing that exceeded my expectations… it was huge. The crepes, french toast(diff color?), egg combo were all unmemorable but do the job. And the OJs… so tiny, but it’s fresh squeezed.

Very good place for breakfast. Service was good. I highly suggest you order pancakes or french toast. They take much more pride in those than their eggs. Moderately expensive so if looking for a deal, go somewhere else but you get what you pay for. All around — good experience

Don’t be dismayed if you see a crowd standing around outside because the wait will probably be short. Get inside and you’ll see why: Service is lighting fast. This is not a What Can I Getcha Hon diner or a Hipster Brunch Establishment. No sass, no novelty breakfast. Just a pancake house that serves pretty good pancakes and meat sides and a handful of other things. The coffee is terrible. But the servers are super friendly even as they are basically rushing you out because in case you forgot, there’s a crowd out there. Of course, since Boyfriend and I frequent Hipster Brunch Establishments, we know that it is a sin to perch once you’ve filled up, so we paid a bill that cost us less than a couple of hours at the Gateway 26 and moved on.
