Came here last month for breakfast with the family. Excellent service and delicious food. Had pumpkin pancakes and a side of scrambled eggs, the pancakes were some of the best I’ve ever had. Wish they were open all year!

Went here on the basis of other Unilocal reviews. A real cut above standard diner fare for breakfast — didn’t try lunch. I’d give 4 ½ stars if I could. Super friendly staff and waitress. Interesting specials. My wife had the green eggs and ham, which was delicious. I had a chorizo omelet special, with homemade tomatillo sauce and a nice potato cake. Fast service, and did I say friendly? Put these items in a hipster joint, and they’d charge twice as much. Highly recommended…

Got typical eggs, toast, home fries and bacon. Came out quick and hot. Boyfriend got chocolate chip pancakes they looked so good and fluffy like aunt jemimas. He loved it. Deserves a 5star because I don’t think anything could go wrong here with breakfast. We were thanked a couple times for coming. Was sweet lil place. I would go back.

Friendly and fast service. Our coffee was always full. Loved the wedgie with horseradish egg cheese and potato wedges. Home fries could have been more well done, but everything else was perfect!!! Such a cute place.

Had a decent bf here today. Had the green eggs and ham. Interesting… it did end up looking like you would expect… green yellow mish mash. Ok taste. Great friendly service. A little departure from the typical diner fare.

Absolutely perfect breakfast. Simple recipes done well with fresh ingredients. The owner/chef came and checked on us personally a few times. Friendly staff. We will definitely come back!

This place is overrated! My eggs were completely overcooked and not even seasoned. I also got the macadamia nut French toast which was okay, but had way too much brown sugar and not nearly enough macadamia nuts. The bites with the nuts were good, but unfortunately there were only four bites with them. It literally looked liked there was one broken nut sprinkled on top. The name macadamia nut French toast implies that the macadamia nut is the main focus of the dish and it was seriously lacking. Number one on trip advisor? Not for me.

So good. I’ve been here a few times and haven’t had a bad experience. My favorite is the wedge, which is potato wedges and two scrambled eggs topped with cheddar cheese and a creamy horseradish sauce. The ricotta pancakes are so good too. They remind me of a lemon cheese Danish in pancake form. The potato cake is amazing too. All of the food I’ve had there has been good. All in all, a great local spot. The only thing is that it runs on the pricier side. A single ricotta pancake was $ 3.50 and the wedge was $ 7.95. $ 1.75 for coffee. It won’t deter me from going back for more deliciousness though.

Just finished having«Green Eggs and Ham» and seriously, the most delicious breakfast ever! Staff is super attentive, and the food is seriously amazing. Definitely coming back next time I’m in Wildwood.

Positives: Super friendly atmosphere. Everyone on the staff is open to conversation. Really good selection of hot sauces and a hot spice, including Dave’s Insanity Hot Sauce which I’m gonna end up buying for the house. Not so positive: Cuban burger was ok. The burger had good flavor, but could have been a little crispier on the outside. Maybe needed a hotter burner. Served with potato chips which I’m not so much a fan of. I love french fries with my burger. Lettuce was brown at the edges. Another note: Owner made some small talk. It was cool knowing his contribution to Wildwood through the years. I didn’t like the solicitation for 5 stars. Judging by the pictures, this diner has more to offer. I would have to give this place one more shot when I go back to Wildwood.

Super Nice Place! Clean. Good Sized Portions. Friendly Waitresses. Fast Servive. What more could you ask for? Nothing — the Surfside West is perfect.

The man got the macadamia nut French toast, there’s not a drop left. I got the lemon ricotta pancakes, which is sooooooo incredibly out of character for me. I haven’t ordered pancakes in years, but I had to try them. They were lovely, just enough lemon. The owner was very nice, and service was quick and without issue. Gets 2 thumbs up.

Was generally surprised at how good this place was. We went there for brunch on the Friday of july 4th weekend, and surfside was absolutely popping. I ordered the hangover and an iced coffee, and it blew me away with how good it actually was. Service was solid, and the diner had a nice ambiance. Definitely lived up the the ‘diners everywhere in Jersey’ vibe. Would recommend

After trying to decide which diner in Wildwood was the best with my mom we took to Unilocal to settle our debate. Surfside was the highest rated and closest to where we were staying. And surprisingly neither of us had ever heard of it. So we scrolled through some of the great reviews and pictures and decided where we were going for breakfast. The parking outside was a little awkward but once inside we were seated right away. However, we were greeted by a screaming baby that sounded like something out of Jurassic Park. Still, I know there’s not much the restaurant can do about that. I just wish the parents would have done something to appease their child. I ordered a porkroll, egg, and cheese on a bagel with a side of home fries and my mom had the cream chipped beef. Our food came out very quick and was delicious. Exactly what I wanted from a diner. Since my mom lives just up the block we’ll definitely be back soon!

Went here for breakfast after we checked out of our hotel. My gf said they were #1 on trip advisor so we have it a shot. We got seated right away placed out orders. I got the two eggs home fries and ham. Everything’s good I cut up the ham and there is a long brown hair under neath, waitress comes back I tell her she apologizes and new plate comes out almost immediately and it was cold. Bill came and the food was still on it and at full menu price, I was at least thinking the manager would make his way over to our table and nothing… very disappointed.

Solid breakfast spot; it ended up being a little pricier than what I’d want, but it is definitely affordable for being down the shore. The parfait that I ordered was yummy, but I should’ve ordered something else as I was hungry about two hours later.

So nice we came here twice in two days! Traditional, cozy diner with very friendly and efficient staff. Generous food portions, great variety and consistently good. I throughly enjoyed my Belgian waffle topped with fruit, whipped cream and syrup! Didn’t enjoy the Macadamia French Toast because it was topped with a heaping amount of brown sugar, but other than that everything was pretty good. Free parking once you get there early.

Breakfast in the Crest. Diner at this location since the 60’s. Good classic diner food. French toast special for her, egg white Denver omelette for me. A nice selection of hot sauce. Not something you see on the east coast. Serves breakfast all day. Nothing better than that.

Owners are from a family of diner owners since the early 60’s in WW . Current owners stop at each table to see how your meal is and will take the time to explain dishes. Today he explained the way they make their CUBANBURGER which you must try. It came with a sauce that I can only describe as very tasty and unusual and having the fried egg atop the burger was devine. I’ve never had a bad meal or experience here. In fact its always been good food with Pleasant service. Tip: only breakfast and lunch.
