Daily Donut has been the centerpiece of the Mesko Glass plaza pretty much since its construction some years ago. The locally owned spot is the only DD in the area, and is always open. Anytime there’s a snowstorm especially, this place is the local lifeline. With no Dunkin’ around, DD does a good penny but it is deserved. The donuts are consistently fresh and you cannot beat the old school countertop atmosphere here. Even when Buttonwood bakery was still in business selling those handsomely devastating white crème donuts, we always defaulted to DD whenever we needed a quick dozen to go. While there are other local donut franchises, Daily Donut is the one to rule them all.
