Eddie Day Pashinski has represented the 121st district in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives since 2007. His Wilkes-Barre office is located under the South Street Bridge and across the street from the Holy Redeemer high school. Due to the«Kids For Cash» documentary and other recent scandals, our area has become nationally recognized for political corruption — it’s important that we citizens of Luzerne County have at least one politician we can put our faith in — and that man is Eddie Day Pashinski. My line of business puts me in contact with many different politicians and I’ve sadly found that very few of them should actually hold office. Eddie Day Pashinski is becoming a rarity among those in the public sector — he is compassionate, intelligent, and tireless. I first met Eddie Day during my school years at Greater Nanticoke Area. He was the music teacher, choral director, and advisor for the student council. Shortly after I graduated, Eddie Day retired from teaching and ran for office. I volunteered an afternoon of my time during his first campaign back in the spring of 2006. That first afternoon grew into a weekend, and then a week, and a month, and eventually I stayed on the campaign through the entire primary and general election. In the proceeding nine years I’ve worked alongside numerous politicians and stood beside them at victory parties, but nothing has ever matched the optimism and hope for our area’s future I first felt when Eddie Day Pashinski won the primary election. Eddie Day would soon win the general election and has since served four additional terms, routinely winning re-election by a landslide — even during election cycles that were unfavorable towards most Democrats. In his youth, Eddie Day was the frontman for several successful area bands and his command of an audience is evident every time he stands behind a podium. He is a gifted orator and his speeches and rallies are worth attending.
