Stayed here about 3 years ago there have been many upgrades since my last stay. Nice rooms, good wifi and flat screen TV. Nothing can be done about it but walls are thin. I checked out early but Frank at the front desk was very nice and told me to grab a coffee etc even though buffet not open yet. Would definitely stay here again.

For a place which accommodates pets, this is a great place. We stayed here with family and our small dog. They couldn’t be more accommodating. Us pet owners were on the clean, first-floor, carpet-free rooms near exit doors. The rooms had everything we needed. We were thoroughly pleased. And it is directly behind the best Perkins I have been in. Thank you econolodge

Stayed here for the past two nights and this is by far the cleanest Econo Lodge that I have been to. Friendly staff and you notice how they work well as a team and have a system in place. Breakfast is continental style. There are donuts, English muffin and bread to toast. There is a Perkins right next to the Econo Lodge, and many other eateries on the strip.

I was pleasantly surprised with this Econo Lodge. The parking situation was good(more parking in the rear of the building), the room was updated, the WiFi signal was sufficient, and the location was in an area where I could easily access the main roads as well as food venues such as Dunkin Doughnuts(for coffee), and a popular cafeteria-style restaurant within a stone’s throw of the front desk. There was also a Kmart down the street to pick up supplies, and the rooms also featured a microwave and refrigerator. Also, there is a small business center tucked away off of the main hallway on the first floor. Sadly, there isn’t a gym area within this Econo Lodge. The front desk had good customer service in that they were able to accommodate me quickly due to not having a reservation. If I had one complaint, it would be the breakfast situation. The seating area can accommodate at least 20 – 30 people within two rooms, yet the food selections were not that great. The food selection consisted of doughnuts, orange juice, toast, dry cereal, and coffee that was not of good quality. Considering that the breakfast feature is an expectation of any Econo Lodge, I thought that this could have been better. Nonetheless, this Econo Lodge proved to have been a good choice for an overnight stay. There are other motel choices within the Wilkes-Barre area that I could have stayed at(Comfort Inn is next door, Motel 6 is further down the road), yet I felt safe within this venue for a $ 63 rate.

I was only here long enough to sleep and have breakfast. Front desk was very nice. Both at check in and check out. Choice Privilege members get to play a quick game for fun. I won a Econo Lodge personalized candy bar. Choice of milk or dark chocolate. Cute word puzzles and number games in the lobby. And a cute travel duck to take anywhere you go for a photo contest. They seemed very involved. It was refreshing. Beds weren’t as comfy as the last place I stayed. If you like a firm bed with firm pillows it would be a great bed for you. Breakfast was stocked. Real oatmeal and not just the one that you add water to was refreshing. Hospitality wasn’t wonderful in the breakfast room. Seems you get ignored in there if you ask questions. Not just me. I watched the same with other guests. They stayed on their toes. If it wasn’t for the service in the breakfast room I would give another star. No one wants the cold shoulder in the morning.

Nice enough place. A notch above the average EconoLodge. The staff was accommodating and their continental breakfast has many pluses. We requested non-smoking and were fine with the accommodations.

A group of us were coming out to see Phish and needed to get off the road as it was getting late and needed to rest. I knew that finding a hotel room at the last minute would be slim pickings along our route but it had to be done. We pulled over and a friend made some phone calls and this place had a couple of rooms… excellent and back on the road about 30 minutes and we were there. 6 of us in 2 non-smoking rooms was the trick to hunker down for the evening to reset ourselves for the next days 5 hour drive to the show. We got to the floor and it wreaked of cigarettes and that air freshener that casinos use to cover up the smoke smell. The rooms were small and the bed not very comfortable. I am grateful that they had a room for the night but in the future would not plan a stay here for any length of time more than an evening.

WiFi sucks, couldn’t get on for more than a few minutes, only one washer/dryer, frozen waffle and toaster, cold cereal and instant oatmeal bfast. Clc cost $ 50.
