**THISPLACEWASRUNBYSCAMARTISTS** I hope this place never opens back up — and if they do, I hope people read this review before even thinking of picking up the phone to book a service. This place used to be Atmosphere, but that shut down and Zen opened up — sans the hair/make-up salon in the front. I loved Atmosphere and I heard Zen was run by the original owner of Atmosphere, so I tried it out. Mediocre one-hour hot stone massage for $ 100. Not impressed. However, last August, I received an email from Zen advertising a buy-one-get-one free spa certificate deal. This was good for any service and there was no limit. I ended up purchasing more than $ 300 worth of spa services, including massages, facials, manis/pedis. I think I bought two of each, so I had certificates for four of each service. I received the certificates in the mail and made my first appointment. Since I relocated to NYC, I had to take a weekend off to be able to go with my mom. When I arrived in PA, I called to book another service for that same day. I got the answering machine over and over. They had an emergency number on the answering machine, so I called that. No answer. Finally I was called back and given some lame excuse about everyone in the salon being in car accidents over the weekend and they couldn’t make it for our appointments. I was disgusted and explained my situation, so I was offered comp’ed services for my next visit. A month later, I tried booking again. I never got any answers when calling the private number or spa number. I drove up to the location and found the place EMPTY. These scam artists ran this special, took my(and probably a lot of others’) money and then closed down without ANY notice. There I was, feeling like such a fool after throwing away almost $ 350, FORNOTHING. They always say, if it’s too good to be true it probably is. With that said, don’t ever go here again if it ever opens up or to any other establishment run by these people. THEYARETHIEVES.
