I stopped in for a salad bar which was very good. Service was very good too. Reasonable price everything was very fresh. I had a waiter in training but he did good. I will recommend this place to anyone especially if they want a quick salad.

A few years ago I said this place was pretty good, but it’s gone down hill. Everything seems microwaved. The beer selection is boring. The bartender literally had to look up how to make a gin and tonic. It’s not awful, but it isn’t what it could be.

I wish I could give zero stars. I have been here before and it was OK, but today was the worst dining experience of my life. There were 6 in our party, 5 of whom ordered an entrée. ONEHOUR later our food arrived… well sort of. They overlooked cooking one of our meals(so that person ended up leaving and going next door to Q’doba) and two meals came out cold and had to be sent back. When one one of them was brought back out, there was just half a serving on the plate! Of course, I asked to speak to the manager. After a 5 minute wait and asking to speak to him a second time he appears out of the kitchen. It turns out he was tied up because he is having to cook!

Ruby Tuesdays is a reliable chain of freeing decent food at a fair price. Their salad bar is the star of the show with three types of lettuce plus spinach. They also have a nice array of veggies, ham, cheese, bacon bits, croutons, etc. Pairing the salad bar with a sandwich or soup makes a good meal. Their entrees are pretty good with a wide range from steak to seafood to chicken dishes. Adding hamburgers and sandwiches to the menu rounds out comprehensive offerings with something for everyone. I like to stop at Ruby Tuesdays when traveling as I can count on a good meal. The Wilkesboro location is very typical of other restaurants in the chain. Service is prompt and friendly. Great place for lunch when time must be watched.

I gave it 1 star because I had to, to post the review. The single worst service I’ve ever experienced. Honestly, I look forward to walking into a Ruby Tuesday’s when I’m On the road, but this was a miserable experience, with an untrained staff, out of everything… And they just kept trying to fix everything with a free dessert. Please get it together… Y’all are better than this.

I stop in North Wilkesboro fairly often on my way between NC and TN. I have exhausted all the fast food options on that strip of 421 and have decided to sample the chain restaurants. We tried Ruby Tuesday recently and it wasn’t all that bad… but the overall experience can be best described by a gesture: *shrug* I had the petite sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli and it was exactly what it claimed to be. The veggies were a little late getting to the table so it was nice when the chef came out to personally deliver them. She seemed really sweet. But the food overall was just OK … nothing spectacular. My biggest complaint about this lunch was the atmosphere. We sat at a corner booth at a window. It was a bright sunny day but it seemed so –dark– inside! I had to ask for a replacement knife because mine had some gunk on it, and I also wasn’t pleased when I went to the restroom and the floor was sticky. Hint: Get rid of the blinds! Let some sunlight into this place. Make sure the silverware is clean when you wrap it up with napkins. Mop the restrooms and give it enough time to dry before opening the door to customers. In spite of those issues I’ll probably return again some day … and hopefully have a better experience.

I think I had some unmemorable seafood pasta, but the five stars goes to our server, Amber. She came to our table and told my boyfriend that it looked like he was enjoying his steak. He told her that he hadn’t tried it yet. She said«Oh! It just comes that small!» She and I are both redheads, so she asked me if I had a temper. I told her that I really didn’t and asked her if she had a temper. She said«Not since I went on meds.» She had just started working at Ruby Tuesday, but she did a great job and she made us laugh the entire time we were there.

If they had nothing else besides the salad bar, it would be enough. A Ruby Tuesday salad bar is a thing of beauty. They also happen to have a very decent menu if you bother to look. But I can’t tell you the last time I ordered off it. I’m a salad bar fan. The service was wonderful but I was in «the south.» They defined the word«hospitality.»
