Getting very consistent now with service and the menu. Easily one of the best places on that side of the lake. Menu is solid, service is great and the drinks are perfect. Bruno behind the bar does a fantastic job. Don’t forget dessert either.

Exceeded expectations! We arrived a little early for dinner to find the bar full. The manager(owner?) graciously sat us in the dining room so that we could enjoy our wine and relax. Once the kitchen opened, we ordered the Tuna Tartar and it was amazing! I will have a hard time ordering any other appetizer! We enjoyed the Pork Shank and Rack of Lamb for dinner. Both were phenomenal! Perfectly cooked and flavorful. The waiter(Guy) was attentive and had perfect timing. We will definitely be coming back and can’t wait to visit in the summer to sit outside!

Three of us had the fish fry and it was excellent(and being from WI, we have had many fish fries). One of us had the chopped salad and she said it was good. Because we were set on a fish fry, I didn’t look too carefully at the rest of the menu. It was busy so we had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated, but they never lost track of us, and the service was very good.

Tonight we sat on the patio under lighted red umbrellas. It was a nice touch. My husband had the crab cakes and shared some of my chop salad. The portions were the right size, not too big. With the tasty bread and salted butter we were satisfied. We even had room for a slice of cheesecake. I had a watermelon martini which was a little too sweet. Our waiter left dirty dishes in front of us for far too long. That’s the only reason this isn’t a five. The inside looks cozy. We’ll sit in there next time.

Upon being seated I was impressed by their diverse menu. However, upon seeing the prices next to those menu items I had to do a second take. I ordered a salad which had an overwhelming season taste, it took away from the other flavors in the salad. My wife’s 28 dollar steak was average. To sum up, average Williams Bay food at lake shore Lake Geneva prices.

Great food and decent prices. Service from Carly was excellent. Great beer to choose from. The three taco dinner was amazing with the braised short rib taco being the star of the show. I had the lobster tail risotto which was awesome, though the portion size was a bit small. We picked a beautiful night and sat on the outdoor deck which had a view of the bay. They could use a couple of strategically placed fans to keep the flies and bugs at bay. Overall a great choice!

Awesome fish fry! Fresh and potato pancakes were actually pancakes just not over fried. And wait and bar staff the best! Thanks Carlos and Kaitlan!

A great place to gather with family and friends. Food is excellent this year and the interior décor is so impressive! Highly recommend the Shore Club all year round.

My lovely wife and I headed to Williams Bay to do some sunset«golden hour» photography on the bay. Before hand, we decided to try out the Shore Club based on the reviews on Unilocal. The restaurant was pretty empty, but again, it was a Wednesday evening and most of the diners were either early birds just finishing up inside, or in the outdoor dining area with apps and cocktails. We asked for the latter and were seated promptly. The outdoor area is right next to Geneva Street, the main drag through Williams Bay, and it got a little noisy from time to time with traffic and pedestrians. Our friendly waitress took drink orders right away, and I was pleased to have my request for a Templeton Rye and Ginger Beer fulfilled! The price was a little steep for the pour, but we were on vacation, so what the heck. The«Jars» seemed to be a big thing on the menu, so when we requested a flight, we were told that the smoked trout(the one we really wanted to try) was sold out. We settled on the Tuna Tartare jar and ½ dozen oysters. The tuna was pretty tasty, but the oysters had seen better days. The requested mignonette never appeared, just standard cocktail sauce, and two of the oysters had shell flecks in them. Our mains were the taco flight(2 shrimp and 1 cod) and the lobster risotto. The tacos were pretty good, the slaw inside nice and crispy, though my wife preferred the shrimp over the rather heavily breaded cod. My lobster risotto was pretty good as well but extremely rich and heavy on the cheese. What saved it was adding some of the sriracha sauce from my wife’s tacos to introduce some acidity and brightness. As the golden hour approached, we wanted to settle our check and high tail it over to the bay with our camera. Our waitress came back and told us that their computer system had taken a dive and was in the process of being rebooted. They finally did get it back up and running after about 15 – 20 minutes. May have just been an off night, but it just seemed like the price point did not match the quality of the food we received.

We were staying at Lake lawn resort for the weekend decided to drive over here to try dinner on Saturday night. All I can say is I am so glad we did everything was delicious fresh our waitress was wonderful. Place can get a little loud but not loud enough for where you can not have a conversation we will definitely be back.

The new owner here is CRUSHINGIT. Top 5 places to eat a quality meal in Walworth county. Weather you’re looking for a nice dinner out, or want to saddle up to the bar for some sports with a bowl of the home made clam chowder(might be the only place in Wisconsin that doesn’t make theirs out of a can) you can’t go wrong here. Hands down best presentation and taste for Friday night fish fry too. Praise God for someone who actually knows how to prepare food.

We were really happy with our meal. Steak was on the rare side but I didn’t mind. Portions were big(too big for us) and the menu had a lot of good options.

The Shore Club was inviting, fresh, and a new place to see on our honeymoon in Lake Geneva. They were extremely accommodating to my egg and dairy allergy preparing my flank steak and grilled asparagus with oil instead of butter. Great selection of scotches and delicious homemade apple pie martini and a house made margarita! My wife had a flight of asian tacos and all were delicious, even though they dropped the first order on the floor they quickly made a new set. For the price and quality this was one of the best places I’ve been to in and around Lake Geneva!

Food is very good, although a little pricey for the area. We went for my birthday dinner this year and my fiancé made sure to let the waitress know it was my birthday. However, the dessert I ordered did not come out with a candle, and she did not take the dessert off the bill. It was not expensive, but would have been a nice gesture when we spent over $ 120 on just two people. As for the food the jar flight was delicious would definitely recommend the sampler. The Mac and cheese seemed expensive but was very good and creamy. Also, it came out baked in the dish it was served which kept it nice and warm. I had the tuna sandwich. It was good but had very little tuna on it and an overwhelming amount of mayo and bread. I love bread but because the tuna piece was sliced so thin and so small I had to make it an open face sandwich to have any hope of tasting the tuna. Not sure if we would go back. A note to another reviewer… they must have listened because they now use plastic recyclable to-go containers, not styrofoam.

This is a somewhat mediocre review because of the pros and cons to the place. Pro…The Friday night fish fry(a Southern WI tradition) was excellent; cod and blue gill will an interesting potato chip coating… nice touch Con…$ 16 for a fish fry? Really? Pro…nice décor and attentive staff… young lady we had as a server was attentive and knowledgable. Con…live music… LOUD live music… we had to retreat to the far end of the back dining room to talk. Music might be nice but you don’t have to amp it up so much for a small bar… really Pro…other than the fish fry, the menu looked diverse and interesting. Con…$$$(maybe $$$$) for a small town restaurant? $ 33 for mac and cheese, even M&C with lobster in it… is pretty pricy for the setting and the potential clientel… might work in the summer but not sure you’ll keep the place full /open in the winter ‘at this end of the lake’ with prices like this. Pier 290(a competitor) isn’t quite this expensive, is a nicer setting and is right on the lake. I’d recommend(with no one asking) that they widen out the lower end of the menu… not necessarily burgers(but do use real cheese… really) but lower priced good stuff… creative… Enough…hope to hear of improvements or I’m afraid that the 4th restaurant in this somewhat prime appearing location will bite the dust… townies won’t pay $ 16 for fish tacos…$ 12 maybe… not $ 16 Peace.

Shore club was a bit confusing, as some others note. Some aspects of the meal were outstanding – like the jar appetizers. But other aspects made you wonder why they don’t just go with quality(especially if they are going to charge those kind of prices). For example, their cheeseburger came with American cheese. AMERICANCHEESE? In Wisconsin, no less? Really? Or the styrofoam«to go» boxes(now that’s just environmentally unfriendly!). The flight of Asian Tacos was decent. But I’m from San Diego and on Taco Tuesday you can get the same thing(or better) for $ 2 each(same plate for the equivalent of $ 6). The Shore Club charges nearly three times the price. Granted, I am referring to taco tuesday. But nonetheless, $ 16 is a lot for only three tacos. This is a great location, and I wish the business well. Few restaurants have been able to last there and I do think something needs to be sustained. The bar looked like a lot of fun and the patio was beautiful. I just hope they make some changes to the offerings.

The food is inventive and surprising. The atmosphere is relaxed and especially nice outside. We were here last year and enjoyed the patio that we purposely came back only to find new owners one of whom is the chef! We had the burger which was fantastic and fresh greens on the side had a lite homemade dressing that was perfect. We also had the ahi tuna sandwich which was likened to eating sushi on a nice unique roll. Great overall food. We also indulged with the banana cake which was clean and the chocolate sandwich cake. Wow. Their coffee is rich and inviting as well and a perfect compliment to the desserts. The one thing they need to work on is service. Must be a new waitress. Everyone apologized for the minor waits however. Wishing for the best.

Dinner in Lake Geneva for arecent Girls weekend put a ton of pressure on the planners– as where do you take 8 women who like the fine restaurants of Chicago but wanted someplace they could dress casually yet still enjoy a nice evening? Well Shore Club to the rescue. We knew this was going to be a good experience as our first choice restaurant was not able to take us but they suggested Shore Club. I always like when places do that. We arrived a little early for our reservation and bellied up to the bar for some frothy concoctions that the bartender was quick to pour. Our table was ready right on time and we got seated in the perfect table by the windows. Carlos was our server, and while he sent the message that he might have been a new server, he was great in taking the orders, telling us what his favorites were and making sure we had everything that we needed for a perfect evening. The menu is a mish mash of things ranging from three flavors of mac and cheese, tuna tartar, salads, and main entrees. I went with the tuna tartar«jar» served with wonton crisps which was like tuna chunks combined with guac served in a cute little jar. This is a sizeable portion so if you order this for one person, you may only need a salad to complement it. For my entrée– I had the taco array– one beef, one shrimp and one fish– each were very good. The only disappointment we had was in the banana cake that I had heard about which is purported to be the chef’s family recipe. We ordered one for the table to split and it was more like a banana bread with dollop of whipped cream on the side. I wanted something a little more indulgent, I guess. The interior is beach resort casual as is pretty much everything in williams Bay. Reservations are encouraged, especially if you want to sit outside as on the Saturday night we were there, most tables were full. Good food, personable service all served up Lake Geneva style with grace and charm. If I find myself back up in this area– you can bet I’ll stop in!
