We were looking for an alternative the the Granzella Deli. Loved the salad. The Louis bread was over the top garlic, so we had to shake off the garlic to eat it. Spaghetti sauce nice and thick — lots of meat.

My bacon wrapped filet was delicious ! The baked potato was weird tasting? Maybe microwaved?

This is a spectacular find. The food is first class, the service is expedient and very friendly, and the prices are more then fair. Many of California’s smaller towns have mediocre food offerings, but Williams are truly blessed to have this jewel in it’s midst. As an additional bonus, count on very large servings that satisfies even the most gluttonous of appetites.

I am pretty surprised at the higher ratings and can only assume these were after a few drinks. I have eaten here a couple of times and neither time was it good. The steak my husband had the first time w the blandest thing I have ever had in a restaurant. Same thing with my chicken fettucini… I thought they forgot to season the food. We just tried it again, only this time the spaghetti(had heard rave reviews on it). The sauce was passable(hence the two stars) but def nothing worth mentioning. However the meatballs were absolutely disgusting! All I can think of is steamed cafeteria food. Order a large order of garlic bread which I make all the time and we love. I think they have heard too many good things about the garlic bread because they put so much on it was inedible. I kid you not, we ate the salad from this dinner and literally threw the rest away. They may have a good bar and wine(according to the reviews) but I can definitely say we will not be eating here again.

I had been here before brought my fiancée. Soup was good. The Louie bread was recommended, should have been a warning attached, you will be a fire breathing dragon. My spaghetti was watery. My fiancée got the 3 appetizers. He said they were bland, and olive garden was better. Dessert was great the fried snickers. Found out after they had been sold a year ago and are no longer run by the family. Not sure we will go back.

Very good Pasta Primavera. Nice restaurant and full bar, patio area too. Was pleasantly surprised by the varied menu. The blended margarita was perfect. I will definitely recommend it to anyone passing through the area.

Pretty horrible. Steak Sandwich: a tough, super lean sirloin that no attempts to tenderize would cure. So they didn’t…tenderize, I mean. Nor did they season it. The red flag was when the waitress asked me if I wanted steak sauce. Too late. Upside: the baked potato was good. It came with their«signature» garlic bread(the supposedly«milder» one of two choices). All I can say is, they should instead market it as an extremely effective flea repellent or vampire killer. Strong beyond words. Left me speechless… i.e. you would have thanked me for being silent after I took my first bite. Unpleasant for me, and most unpleasant for anyone nearby. Disgusting. Special of the day: Baby Back Ribs = dry. I swear we left with a box of leftovers, but mysteriously the to-go container was AWOL by the time we got back in our car. I believe you call that«round filing»? It came with ravioli. Mr. B remarked it reminded him of a grade school pot luck. That is not a good thing. The dinner salad, way over dressed. My fault. I usually remember to ask to put the dressing on the side. On the great side… the homegrown tomatoes the waitress brought in to share with her customers. The only redeeming things were the antipasto that came with my meal, which consisted of a small dish with marinated bean salad, some slices of salami, baby carrots, pickles, black olives, and some pepperoncini, and the delightful waitress. This was a $ 45 meal that was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Not good.

Great spot for drinks and dinner in the comfortable and friendly bar. Wife and I stop at Williams often and spend the night on Friday evenings when we leave after work from Sacramento to go visit the family in Redding, and Louis Cairo’s is within walking distance of three nice motels in town. Food is good… steaks, chicken, and some seafood items with Italian choices as well. Portions are ample… the meat sauce for the pasta is really good, and the steak sandwich is just what you want… a nice top sirloin grilled to order served with fries and some great garlic bread. Service in the bar is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They have a nice beer and wine selection to go with the full bar, and the bartenders do a great job keeping your drink filled! TV’s are available(important for me) to watch the games as well. All in all this is a friendly and inviting place with some good food and drink. You can spend a few hours here no problem at all. Give it a try.

A great wee gem in the middle of the ominously quiet NorCal section of the I-5. They take pride in their home ground burgers, and rightly so. Quality food, reasonably priced. It’s not too inviting from the outside, but a great place to stop on a long trip.

One of the loudest restaurants I’ve ever experienced… Not sure what if anything they could do about that, but I left with a headache. I ordered a cocktail, raspberry lemon drop, they didn’t just sugar the rim but the whole side of the glass all the way around, my fingers were so sticky a third of the way through I had to ask for a new one, which was almost as bad as the first. I had to hold it by the very bottom of the stem of the glass not to get sticky. We did not care at all for the garlic bread, the garlic was horribly bitter. If you are going to put that much garlic on something it really should be roasted first to bring out the sweetness. We sent it back after a bite each. I ordered the«Best Mac & Cheese Ever» so touted by the menu. Very much not the best of anything ever. Cheese sauce was runny, there was no panco parmesan on top as described, the bacon was so tiny it was lost, and the noodles were over cooked. When the bill came we had been charged for the bread that had been sent back after one bite, and two cocktails. After bringing it to a waitstaff’s attention the corrected bill was brought back with what seemed like a very snippy, «Does this look better?» No apology or anything. We will never be back.

Louis Cairos has been a place where every local in the county enjoys going to. Cairos is known for their excellent steaks as well as their great pastas. If you want to eat like a local then you must go to Cairos.

Been back recently, and this time my experience was more«hit or miss.» I’ll start off by saying that our server was amiable, gracious, and attentive. Her recommendation to try the Louis bread(which is very garlicky garlic bread!) is appreciated! No complaints here. However, there are menu items we won’t be ordering again. If you’re considering ordering from the«3 appetizers for $ 13» section of the menu, avoid the fried ravioli because that really didn’t turn out the way we thought it would. The raviolis are tiny, the filling is somewhat flavorless, and more chewy than crispy. DO consider the shrimp skewers though, which I found to be much more pleasing to the palate — nice light, sweet flavor. Onto the entrees… Perhaps they’re trying to be generous here with their portions of beef, but there really is such a problem as «too much of a good thing» — particularly when it comes to lasagna. Since the ratio of pasta to beef was wayyy off when compared to the«normal» lasagna, it didn’t taste like lasagna anymore. It was more similar to beef goulash… which was disappointing to my dining companion who really just wanted lasagna. The Crème Brulee, though, was just as good as it was last time. So it’s nice to have that to enjoy no matter how the rest of the meal went.

I had their catering and dined in many times. Always had great food and great service. You will not go away hungry! Deserts are awesome the different kinds of garlic bread are serious about garlic. I am always a little surprised when the bill comes that it is such a good value.

Stopped in at Louie Cairo’s yesterday on my way back from Chico, CA. Louie’s has been a family tradition of ours since the 1960’s. Located in Williams, CA along interstate 5 north of Sacramento, it is still operated by the Cairo family. The food is basic Italian food of great quality, and«Louie bread»(garlic lovers take note!) to die for. These are the same family recipe’s offered when Louie was greeting guests at the door. Their restaurant has had some updates over the years, but still has a warm atmosphere. I had the Spaghetti and Meatballs and my sweetheart had the steak sandwich. Both were excellent. I highly recommend it.

We had very high hopes. The appetizer was exactly as I had hoped but then we waited, and waited. And waited! Our soup/salad course was forgotten in the kitchen and was only remembered when our entrée was brought out and what a disappointment. The calamari steak«the most popular item on the menu» was so bland the oily tarter sauce looked tempting. Could you at least use salt and pepper? At $ 70 for two without drinks or dessert my pocketbook is reeling from the shock and that is with the 50% off one entrée for the Unilocal check-in. The manager’s solution to the cellular data coverage problems for using the Unilocal offer was too hilarious. She walked my phone around the restaurant looking for a signal. When we were leaving I noticed a sign that had the code for their free wifi!

I was very disappointed with this place. I love some good Garlic Bread and after reading some of the reviews that raved about it here, I had some really high expectations. After seeing the prices of the food, I had some pretty high expectations. This was maybe the worst Bread with Garlic and Cheese on it that I’ve ever had… $ 8 for a 6″ end cut of a French roll that was dripping with butter, over baked to where it was hard and then covered in chopped up Garlic. It was a clogged artery waiting to happen but not in a good way! $ 16 for a Tri-tip sandwich? Again, expectations were very high and again very disappointed. I really wanted to try the crab cakes but not for $ 16 for 2 small cakes. The 2nd star was given because my drink and service was above average… Although a little slow, but I don’t think that was the waitresses fault.
