Cute local store has way more than you can imagine, gifts, ice cream, coffee, and excellent bakery goodies, to it off with a friendly staff :-)

Quaint classic New England general store with the usual collection of knick knacks and various sundries but the real draw here is the awesome baked goods, many of them unique and all delicious. Fun place to stop, browse and grab an unhealthy treat.

When they said general store, they weren’t kidding! The Williamsburg General Store is an amazing little shop in the town’s center. This store is packed with a ton of items including some delicious pastries and ice cream. Since the shop is small it is a little hard to walk through when it is busy, but be prepared to spend at least half of an hour looking at their merchandise. The only critique I have has to do with the staff here. Overall they were fairly polite, but it felt as though they didn’t take their eyes off me throughout my visit. This was a bit frustrating because other patrons didn’t seem to have the same experience. That being said, I will be back in the future to buy some more items and if I feel observed again I will kindly ask for feedback.

It’s a charming store that offers specialty gifts, kitchen items, toys, jewelry, creams, and a little of everything. It has an old fashioned country appeal that is very quaint and adorable. They make great pepperoni cheese bread and great icecream. Try the butterscotch flavor. You won’t be dissappointed. It’s worth making a trip.

No matter how many times I go to the Williamsburg General Store, I always find something new. They carry a wide variety of random kitchen accessories, beautiful(and affordable) jewelry, pottery, bath and beauty products, spices and herbs that cannot always be easily found, candles and incense, toys, books, T-shirts, and other gifts. They also have awesome baked goods(like their famous«wrapple,» an apple pastry drizzled with creamy frosting, coffee cakes, cookies, and fudge). Plenty of maple products, too, of course. They try to represent New England though I wish they sold more local products; several items are made in China. They also have an ice cream parlor with some interesting flavors, which is very popular especially in the summer. The people who work at the general store are also very friendly and welcoming!

This place reminds me of something straight out of that old tv show«The Waltons». I’ve been coming here since I was little(whenever we make a trip to MA) and the place hasn’t changed a bit. My mom has also been coming here since she was young and has said the same. It’s nice to see places like this, they’re just so comfortable and homey. If you’re coming here for the first time, make sure you have a little time to spend. There’s just so much STUFF to look at and poke at. This is a great spot to get little gifts for people, as there’s pretty much something for everyone. They have cute little toys, knick knacks, natural beauty products(I.e Burts Bees), really pretty jewelry that won’t break the bank, and yummy baked goods and candy. A lot of the stuff you probably could get other places and probably cheaper, but the experience of this place alone makes it worth it. That, and supporting a local business that’s been around for so long is a rewarding feeling. There’s plenty of parking at the back of the building, and the parking lot is pretty easy to get in and out of.

Adorable. Easy parking. The creamiest ice cream I have ever had. They do vanilla or chocolate with chunks of peanut butter unlike anywhere I have ever had. So good!!! Employees are very nice too. Prices are good. Bought homemade bread loaf too that is apparently amazing. Love this place

I’ve been going here off and on since I was a kid, and always have loved this place. From the ice cream and baked goods to the variety of candy and gifts it seems to have something for everyone. Complete with creaky uneven floors this place is the epitome of old New England country stores. Definitely worth a visit.

This is a classic old-time New England schlockatorium, for all your magnetic diabetes bracelet, avocado slicer, moose-themed Christmas decoration, and 8 ounce bag of catnip needs. They also sell ice cream.

What you will find here can be found elsewhere for much less money, or really needn’t be found anywhere. The stench of the candles eliminates any possibility of smelling the baked goods. Avoid.

charm, general store authenticity with a bakery to drool over! The smell of the baking will just make you 10000 lbs! The cheese bread and rolls so light and cheesy YUM! Each visit home requires a trip through Northhampton to check this old time gem out! Please don’t change!(the VT country store is the pits now!)
