This place is great! It is located inside at Lagoner Farms and is quality littler place to have shine drinks and a nice lunch. I had the cheddar burger, and my husband had the pork belly budget, both were so delicious and each came with fries served with their blueberry ketchup. Yes, it sounds weird, but so amazing! We shared a flight of 5 of the 7 ciders they have on tap. They were pretty decent, our favorites being the American Heirloom and the American Hops. And of course we headed into the market and took some delicious baked goods home! We wi) definitely be back!

Nice entrees(we both liked the pork belly) and we tried each of the ciders and found three that we liked.

I’m no cider expert, but love the Hopped Cider and also the Crab Series1. Really nice tasting room, very clean! The food is also very good. I’ve eaten there twice now and can’t wait to try other menu items!

I went here with my boyfriend and we had an amazing time! I love the location and the cider :) Great service and I learned a lot about the different batches/kinds of cider. Very knowledgeable staff. Also loved the very clean environment. I was so excited and pleasantly surprised to see they had an entire café menu, ice cream, bakery, fresh produce, etc. all connected to the tasting room! Awesome experience!

Sadly, there’s really nothing positive I can say about my experience at Embark Craft Ciderworks. I’d had the place bookmarked on my phone for weeks. I’m relatively new to drinking hard ciders, and when I fist read about this place I was excited to give it a try. Then there came the article in the Democrat & Chronicle newspaper. That was the nudge I needed to finally take a trip out to Williamson. Having recently moved to the Rochester area, my partner and I have been enjoying visiting new places in the vicinity. Okay, I can say that the place was clean; very clean. And, though the tasting area is small, even with all of the seats filled it didn’t feel crowded. But that’s definitely where my accolades end. To begin with, the young men(were they the owners – I don’t even remember their names) serving everyone were not the most hospitable people. One of them kept saying«I can only move so fast» in a sarcastic, exasperated tone, while the other one seemed to be walking around like a chicken having no idea what to do with himself. Though they were clearly busy, we really didn’t have to wait long for a table, or to be served(okay, that’s one other positive aspect to the experience). But, once these two opened their mouths we knew we were in trouble. First we commented on the article in the D&C, and from the one serving us, we just got a grunt(okay, so maybe he doesn’t like having his business written up in the paper). Next, when we asked about how the tasters we’d ordered were organized, our server put his finger in my partner’s face and said, «Just wait a minute. I’ll explain that, but I can only move so fast.» The cider? Unremarkable. We tried all seven of them, and not one of them tasted all that great. The first four on the menu tasted way too watery for my taste, the fifth one – Crab Series, Vol.1 – was«heavy», just like the description said. And, the last two… again, unremarkable. Fortunately, Rootstock Ciderworks is right down the road from this place. I’ll be spending my money there in the future. Sorry guys. I could have at least been happy to have had the experience of trying your cider if the young men working the tasting room had been nice, or at the very least, hospitable.

Embark Hard Cider is located within Lagoner farms and have 5 – 7 Hard Ciders on tap. They have a tasting room with $ 8 Flights which include 5(4oz) pours. They have a nice, small tasting area/bar with stools and several tables and chair to enjoy some of their farm to table food offerings. We only tasted the ciders so this review doesn’t include any of the food offerings which is technically called Lagoner Farms Café. The tasting area is very clean, trendy decorated and you walk through the farm location to get to the cider tasting area. Staff was very friendly and appeared knowledgeable about all the varieties. All the flavors are generally described as «dry.» I felt they tasted more like a dry wine than cider personally. I am not a fan of dry wines so I really didn’t enjoy any of the flavors. I will say they were clean, crisp flavors so if you like dry wines, cider then you may enjoy these. They sell their ciders by the larger sized bottle, I didn’t see any growlers or prices for the bottles so can’t comment on that. I really wish they would add some sweeter ciders. I would say if you are in the area its worth a try if you like dry wines/ciders. But we have many options in the Rochester area for craft cider, this wouldn’t be my first choice.
