I’ve stopped here every now and then for over 40 years, when I first went with my father. It’s precisely what you expect from looking at the outside; a greasy diner with an emphasis on burgers. And really, that’s OK, because sometimes that’s just what you want.

Peeling paint, ceiling falling down, kitchen absolutely filthy with oil everywhere. My husband & I were both nauseous later on last night. $ 23.00 for hamburgers and fries. This was the last time we’ll be going there!!!

Mediocre. Low quality food at an average price. Seems more in line with something you would expect from a homeless shelter. The only people working are underage kids that are more concerned with their phones and each other than actually doing their job.

It’s ok… bring CASH because they only take cash. they do have an atm on premises but save yourself the fee! Food is good if you like lots of fried things, burgers, etc. Stay away if it’s full in there. it gets a bit too nutty and take awhile to get waited on. sports teams tend to go in there after a game. Had the ice cream… was not impressed… kind of no flavor at all.

This was not our 1st time here, but probably our last. It may very well be a great burger joint, but the fish fry’s were absolutely terrible !!! Not fresh, and very greasy ! The fries were good though ! The cole slaw was pretty bland and not fresh. But if you want to look at girls in short shorts and eat just burgers and fries, this place may be for you !! My Wife and I were sick that night, and next day from the fish, never again !

Love love love this place! They take these substantially pretty girls who are wayyy too young for me and parade them around behind the counter in these sweet lil red booty shorts. It’s exactly what I needed to break up this long shitty drive down 104. The foods pretty good to, the meat hot doesn’t stack up but can’t win em all right?

Hot’s and burgers. What more do you want from a Rochester stand? Good food, good is cream, old fashioned Rochester service… It’s great.

The food is okay but way over priced, and it’s a tight crammed hot environment. It’s great of you want that old school burger joint feel.

Love it. Amazing burgers. Hard to find places like this nowadays. Reminds me of a bygone era. They also have Mexican Coke!

A good ol’ burger joint serving good ol’ burgers and fries The burgers were good, not as good as some other local joints, but better than most of the national ones. The fries were really good, crinkle fries should be served crispy, and they know it. Some local places serve soggy fries, and that’s a big no-no They have soft serve ice cream. Some people would hate this, but soft serve is my favorite type of ice cream, so they get an extra star for that! The location has a lingering smell of old greasy diner, but since it is an old greasy diner, it’s not a huge surprise I would give them 3.5 stars, but I rounded it up since they serve soft serve ice cream(I am a whore for soft serve)

This place is catchy. When you drive past it, your eyes and your memory are drawn to something from the past. Orbaker’s is your charming fifties décor, with the slamming screen doors and a dining area that’s reminiscent of the past. I liken myself to a hotdog connoisseur, and Zweigle’s passed my taste bud inspection. I was thrilled with the taste. To order your own Zweigle’s hotdog, there is a separate area(the lefthand entrance) where there is just a wrapped around open counter where you place an order. I admit it was a bit odd, but I think it worked out just fine. We were served quickly. On the righthand entrance is the dining area with many booths and tables to choose from. The waiter or waitress you order from brings your food to your table. I think it’s quite charming and for this type of place, I find it pretty neat that they do that. A+ for service. Their menu options were vast. I kept eyeing up the long list of milkshakes but never followed through. I think I need to go back and try something new. If you’re ever in the area, stop by. I think it was well worth it.

Orbaker’s is your pretty standard roadside greasy-spoon burger joint. But perhaps this one has a bit more history than most. I haven’t ever been in here when it’s busy, so I can’t really comment as to how the service gets at those times, but I’ve never had to wait more than a couple minutes before being attended to. The food’s about what you’d expect; lots of burgers and hots and similar fare; it’s not spectacularly good, but it’s inexpensive and certainly a step up from the fast-food chains. If you walk in here expecting gourmet cooking(though I don’t know why you would, seeing as the place definitely doesn’t look the part, inside or out), I don’t know what to tell you. But Orbaker’s been there a very long time, which is usually a good sign. It’s definitely worth stopping in if you’re passing through on 104, rather than going to the next McDonald’s you find.

If you came here for the ice cream, you probably made a better choice than I did. I obviously have a different opinion that the majority of people, but the burger I had was the most bland one I think I’ve ever tasted– you could barely see it between the buns, and it was so small I think the top bun was actually touching the bottom one. On top of that I didn’t find the service to be very good at all, but maybe it’s to be expected when the servers are kids on summer break. I also need to mention that they do not have free refills on soda. This is a new trend for a handful of restaurants since there is so much profit to be made on soda. For me, that’s a deal breaker for any restaurant.

Orbaker’s Drive In is a classic burger and hot dog stop on Route 104. They are known for their Zweigle’s hot dogs, ground steaks and delicious hot sauce. Orbaker’s also has a wide variety of ice cream with over 32 flavors. Their signature item is the«Glutton Burger» which features 2 ground steaks, 4 slices swiss cheese, 3 slices ham, 3 slices bacon, special sauce, lettuce, tomato, with mustard, relish, onions, and hot sauce on a hard roll. It’s a must-visit for lunch if you happen to be in the area.

Great portions, fair prices and delicious, old-time drive-in food. Can’t complain about that! The dining area can get a little smoky. But otherwise, I always make a point to stop in a few times a summer. YUM!

A prime establishment to experience that old timey feel, or just have a nice dinner. Your selection of burgers are huge, and the menu is very diverse. The meals are great and all around genuine. You can’t go wrong with their $ 1 sundae, either! In my opinion, this is a stop you won’t regret!

Somewhere along Route 104, the verdant byway that skirts just below Central New York State’s Lake Ontario’s shoreline, is a glorious waystation of burgers, red hots, and ice cream known as Orbakers. Bustling with activity on both sides of its traditional, pull-up-a-stool counter, the burger and entrée choices are endless. And then there’s 50 flavors of ice cream to wash it all down. Service is friendly; price is right. It’s a 100 percent go on Route 104 …

Always curious to try out this drive in, as it has been around for over 75 years, I decided to stop in and have a quick lunch recently. Yes, I was surprised that they were open in December, but they do have indoor dining and ordering areas, so they are able to be open year round. I went up to the counter, quickly helped by the staff and ordered a Drive-In Burger, which is your classic greasy burger, a generous helping of cheese, bacon, grilled onions and tomatoes. Yes, if you want extra toppings, you are charged more, but I didn’t feel that I needed anything else, as this burger was quite tasty as it comes. I’d certainly consider coming back to Orbaker’s for a meal if my travels take me down this part of Route 104.
