What a wonderful weekend! Haughton Hall is beautiful, comfortable, and such a relaxing get away. Lucia, the owner, is fun, hospitable, and a great cook! Lots to do in the warm months on the river, and in the winter it’s a cozy spot to read, play cards, and relax. The rooms are spacious, beds are cozy and warm. She even put out chocolates for Valentines day. In town the Sunnyside Oyster Bar is a must, and if you’re coming from Raleigh/Durham or other points west, be sure to stop at On The Square in Tarboro on your way!

We stayed there this weekend and absolutely loved our time there. The bed in our room was extremely comfortable and the room was very spacious. The house has so much to see wandering from room to room downstairs, from the historic artwork on the walls to the books on the shelves. The owner is originally from Williamston so she has lots of information if you want to learn more about the history of the town. Wonderful place all around!

This is a lovely little B&B where we just spent a wonderful weekend(Late August, 2013). There are only 3 bedrooms, so it should never be crowded. According to the owner the entire house was remodeled prior to it’s opening as a B&B and it is absolutely gorgeous. Our stay was very pleasant, the hostess gracious and accommodating, and the breakfasts hearty and delicious! Also it is very affordable. Enjoy lovely accomodations for the price of a cheap hotel. I would love to stay there again.
