Our first visit today. My wife found a large hair with lint inside of her vegetable quesedilla. Not on top; inside. The restaurant took it away, brought her something else, and did not charge for the quesedilla… but that’s it. Almost anywhere else, the restaurant would comp the meal, and/or give you a complimentary dessert, *something* to apologize and/or show you you were valued. Not here. Our last visit. Caveat emptor.

Our food was really good and the menu had a little different options than your standard Mexican place. They have several different dip options if your into that and a decent margarita. The price was pretty good. I was expecting the bill to be $ 10 or so more when it came to our table so that was good as well. They were really busy when we ate there. The parking lot is small and was hard to find a place to park. Service was also slow too. It took a while to get our bill and whatnot. Not super bad though and they were really busy as well. If you like Mexican and want to try something slightly different I would give it a go. It’s well worth trying and maybe you can catch them on their down time.

My wife and I eat here frequently. The food is quite good, although I usually alternate between a couple of favorite dishes. Prices are very reasonable and portions are filling. I’m not certain who eats the bowls of ranch dip they bring with the chips, but who am I to complain? It’s much better than you would expect based on location and appearance.

We were looking for a spot to eat while on the road and came across this gem. Typically exits of the freeway only offer trashy fast food, but not this one! There isn’t anything around except this place and we were impressed. The menu has tons of offerings, and many options for vegetarians which is more rare at mexican joints. They actually had exciting vegetarian options. Good salsa, great drink specials, and great food. We left stuffed and didn’t spend much at all. Skip the other exits, stop here and eat. Easy on, easy off exit.

Average Mexican food. Arroz Pollo Y Vegetable was good. Kids mini taco salads were not the best. Did not include beans in the description on the menu so my daughter who does not like beams was disappointed. Beans as side were also salty.

Met up here as a halfway point between Lexington and Cincinnati because it was literally the only non-chain restaurant in the area and had a nice lunch, but nothing that wowed me. The chips were warm, but very dense yellow corn. The salsa was fresh, but extremely thin and liquid-y. There was also a second white sauce that came with the chips, but the waitress described it as «ranch, sugar, and jalapenos», which just sounded so unappealing, we didn’t try it. I got my old standby of chicken enchiladas suizas – the tomatillo sauce had a nice, subtle kick to it and the chicken tasted fresh. The refried beans and rice were standard. My sister’s entrée was apparently inedibly salty the first time and came with a different sauce than ordered, but when asked, they very nicely brought her another one that was better. If you’re on the road and stopping for a meal in this area, this is probably one of the best choices, but I wouldn’t make a special trip.

I pulled off the highway around dinnertime, hungry for anything, expecting to hit a McDonald’s or some other fast food place, but came on a whim when we saw the ad on the highway sign. It was the best decision made during the entire road trip. The parking lot was packed, but there were still plenty of spots. We parked and went inside just as it began to rain, which made our visit even more serendipitous. We were greeted by an amazingly friendly staff, and an enormous menu, with many vegetarian entrees to choose from, and even more meat-containing ones– including many with fresh seafood! I ordered the vegetarian fajitas, and my mother ordered arroz con pollo at the recommendation of our server. In the meantime, we gorged ourselves on the delicious and fresh-tasting salsa and chips. The portions were huge, and the taste was incredible. We drove away stuffed(for under $ 20!) and so, so happy.

I got stuck at this restaurant during an ice storm, and boy was I lucky. The food is delicious and the fiesta atmosphere is fun. I rate this the best Mexican food in Northern KY. The cucumber sauce for chips is amazing! Chorizo, chicken, cheese, shrimp, fish – all good. They also have horchata! It’s a drive from Cincy, but well worth it.
