Came in here looking for a book that was recommended to me. Funny thing is, I had bought the book years before, lent it to a friend, friend never returned it, so I never read it. Yet here I am, buying it again. I guess when the universe wants you to do something, you’ve gotta do it. Ha!
Anyway, they have some cool things in here and coupons for discounts. If you have anyone in your life being baptized, making a First Communion, getting married, etc. there are definitely some thoughtful gifts for them here. I consider myself spiritual, but not a part of an organized religion, and there was even something for me here. If you find yourself nearby and believe in or appreciate God, it’s worth scoping out. But it’s also not for everyone…
Plus it’s next to Ohlson’s Bakery, so it’s a really good excuse to visit and then grab a cupcake or ho ho.

I stopped in here looking for a St. Joseph statue that you bury when you’re trying to sell a house. It’s a huge store, with everything you can imagine as far as Christian gifts, music, books, and more. It doesn’t look like a big store from the outside and I was surprised when I went in. It kind of reminded me of a giant Christian bookstore or Hallmark store. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the statues that I was looking for, but the woman behind the counter was super friendly and referred me to The Hiding Place in Clarence.
