Dragonfly Studio and Salon

I had my hair done at the studio by Josh. Professional and personable, Josh is also extremely meticulous. He paid attention to every detail and really worked with me on the cut and color I was looking for. He’s very honest and will explain what will and won’t work with your hair with knowledge to back it up. When we were done, I felt amazing. I had gotten a more «edgy» cut, which I feel not many stylists are as skilled with. He really went above my expectations and I would recommend him to any one looking to freshen up their look!

Finally a place I feel comfortable at!
I met Sarah, the owner, at a networking event purely based on her hair. She had purple and blue highlights in an edgy bob cut, so I went up to her and raved about how much I loved her hair. That’s how I found out she owns her own salon and she gave me her card.
I made an appointment and was able to sneak in when someone cancelled. It’s on Main Street in Clarence, just off Transit, so it’s pretty far out of my way, but I can’t find a place that really gets me and based on Sarah’s look alone I thought it was worth the drive.
The staff was friendly and they’re focused on making certain you have a great experience. I filled out a questionnaire regarding my personal preferences and turned it in. Then the assistant took me to wash my hair, and they use only organic and vegan products.
Sarah cut my hair and she was great as she actually listened to what I want, which is to grow out my pixie cut. I had previously gone to a salon close to my house that I liked before, but then I got a woman who totally ignored my request and I felt she kind of butchered my hair, and it had finally grown out again to a manageable point, and Sarah was careful to listen to what I wanted and trimmed my hair accordingly. We chatted animatedly and I had a wonderful time with her! She did a great job cleaning up my look and I can’t wait to go back to her and get some color in it!
Dragonfly definitely knows what’s going on. Whether you’re looking for an edgy look or a clean look, the stylists there can do it. They rock!

I love this place… the staff and owners are warm, friendly and inviting. Sarah is a MASTER at hair coloring. I won’t let another stylist touch my hair.
