Never going back! After being told a wait time and submitting our name, 2 walk ins after us were taken first. Very disappointing, waste of time experience.

This was a great haircut. Amanda listens, takes her time, is clearly an experienced cutter and very good with people. I don’t live here and time my haircuts for when I visit my parents, such a positive experience and not at all what I expected from a walk-in chain salon. It has been a very nice surprise after years of overpriced and mediocre to terrible haircuts. Whomever is hiring or training there is doing a great job.

As my normal barber(a one man owned and operated barbershop) has become more and more unavailable, I decided to go look for a larger barber shop that would not close unexpectedly. Enter Pro Cuts. Pro Cuts definitely caters more towards men, much like a Sports Clips in that it is sports themed with TVs at every chair. However, from what I’ve been told, they also cut women’s hair as well. Sure, the cut is a little more than I normally spend($ 15 dollars with the student discount M-Th), but the little things they do help me rationalize spending $ 5 more for a cut. With every haircut, you get your choice of a beverage from their fridge(pop/water) as well as shampooing, hot face towel, and shoulder massage. The haircut itself turned out pretty well, and believe me, I’ve had some pretty horrendous experiences at barber shops before. All together, the friendly staff, convenient hours/location, and feeling pampered, will bring me back again.

I moved to the Cheektowaga/Williamsville area from Niagara Falls, last year. I had been visiting the same barber for pretty much all of my life, and I was honestly terrified at the prospect of finding a new and good place to get my hair cut. As the previous poster stated, Pro-Cuts had its grand opening right around the time I moved in. Since my house is about a mile from their Williamsville location, I figured«why not?» The first time, I came in as a walk-in, but was taken to a chair right away. The lady gave me a fade that mirrored what I was getting in the Falls. I was very impressed with the job and came in about two weeks later for my second cut. This time(visited on my lunch break), I had a different stylist, and unfortunately, she did not do a good job on my hair at all(I later learned that her background was in salons and not actual barber shops geared towards men). I didn’t notice that my hair looked like a round Chess Board until someone pointed it out to me when I returned to work. I visited the next day, and the manager apologized profusely and fixed my hair, free of charge. Again, I was extremely impressed with the job well done and her courtesy. This was about six months ago, and I’ve been coming back to Pro-Cuts ever since(I set my appointments exclusively with the manager). Haven’t had a bad hair cut since my second visit. The atmosphere is pretty trendy/sporty, with the TVs, free beverages, and sports magazines out. Prices are reasonable, and everyone there is very friendly and accommodating. There are a ton of places on Main Street in Williamsville to get your hair cut, but I definitely recommend giving Pro-Cuts a try.

I have no idea why I have managed to get so many terrible hair cuts since moving back to Buffalo. I had a lady for a while, then she retired. Other than her, I’ve had one bad cut after another. I have tried cheap places, and I have tried more expensive salons. I’m a dude, and I don’t really have THAT much hair, so it should be straightforward, right? Apparently not. I felt the same way when I walked in to Pro Cuts. Essentially a slightly fancier Fantastic Sam’s geared toward guys, right? I had a coupon and they had just opened up a location near my house so I figured I would give it a try. Go figure, they gave a really good hair cut. The little extras(tv’s at the stations, free water /soda, &tc.) are nice, but the fact that they have cut my hair perfectly well(not GREAT, but perfectly well) for the past five visits is really cool. I didn’t have the same person twice, and have had my hair trimmed by at least three people there, and they have all done fine. Parking is easy in the lot. They are friendly. Try to find a coupon to get some $$ off. For the price, they are the best simple men’s cut in the area, IMO. Yes, you can spend more for better service, or at a salon, or at a barber, but I’m happy at Pro Cuts for now.
