This store is probably the best Toy store in the area, it might actually be worth driving out here to buy your toys(if you already planned on going to the Amherst location) because the employees here seem a lot nicer and more helpful than at the other Amherst location so this one gets 4 stars. However the chain stores polices bring down what would otherwise be a great place to take your kid for a toy. I had one employee go completely above and beyond for me at this store(I only hope he does not get fired for what he did) so I can’t say what it was but it was awesome. As I posted in my other review the main problem with TRU is that they are overpriced and do not keep MSRP on most items. Skylanders are 16.99 instead of 14.99, Wii Nunchucks were 21.99 instead of 19.99 and the list goes on… many more examples are present in the store. They do however keep MSRP on video games. They do have sales so I recommend waiting for your desired item to go on sale before buying it. This location is a bit more out of the way than the Amherst store so they are more likely to have that hard to find hot toy although they still get snapped up quickly.

Merchandise pickup has to be the most uncoordinated operation I have ever seen. Once you check in at the front of the store you will be instructed to the rear of the store where you will wait forever!!! I was rudely told that«Greg» was working the back and would be with me shortly. 45 minutes later I finally got my stuff that I already purchased online and«was ready for pickup.» I will never shop here again!

For my little niece’s birthday, I really wanted to get her a doll that looked like her. This was her first doll, so the pressure was on to get a good one. After hitting up the mall, not a single store had a redhead doll. Not one. Forget about looking like her. I was, however, finding a surprisingly high number of African American dolls. Stopped in a boutique and they offered me a Raggedy Ann. Yes, the hair is red but that’s NOT the idea. Her hair is fluorescent red yarn. Attempt #3: Toys R Us. Walked in and headed straight for customer service. By this point, I was expecting them to dismiss my question, laugh at me, or perhaps chase me out of the store with pitchforks for suggesting that stores carry«ginger» dolls. Instead, I found an entire selection of dolls. Multiple aisles dedicated to them. And even one with light brownish red hair, bright blue eyes, and a couple of freckles. Perfect. The cost was a lot less, too! I always though that Toys R Us would be more expensive. Not so. Makes me wonder why I started anywhere else!
