I love this hidden gem. Coreleons’s is a great place to go for happy hour, socializing, Kareoke, intellectual conversation, some games or just a plain good time. Anyone who doesn’t have a good time here has a big ol stick lodged somewhere unpleasant. It gets pretty crowded late night most times with a lot of college kids but around happy hour it’s the perfect place for good conversation and a good drink. As it gets later and louder you can still have a great time in one of the(surprising) multiple rooms in The joint, or on one of the 2 patios. The only thing missing is food, but lots of places deliver there. Coreleons’s is a favorite spot!

Great staff, real neighborhood kinda bar. the prices are unbelievable. you’ll feel right at home, and it wont break the bank.

Yes, I admit this place seems run-down and dull, but there is so much life at this place! The bartenders are good to you if you’re good to them… There’s pool, karaōke night, trivia night, and open mic night every week, along with a battle of the bands every once in a while which is killer. The atmosphere is so much better than all of the other local bars… Much less crazy college kids… it’s more laid back. This is my go-to bar — don’t judge a book by its cover!

Call me a killjoy, a wet blanket, whatever. It won’t change my opinion about Corleone’s being a total dump. It’s THE place to be if you’re a UConn grad student or young professional who wants to feel like they’re getting wasted at Huskies or Thirsty Dog… without actually being at Huskies or Thirsty Dog. This joint is dingy, crowded, smoky, loud, and filled with super sketchy people. And don’t get me started on the preferential treatment on karaōke Saturdays. Clearly this place has its appeal for some people; it has a nearly perfect 5-star rating on Google Reviews and Facebook. Alas, to each their own.
