We stopped here for a late breakfast on our way to NH for the weekend. Friendly, prompt service, perfectly made eggs all around, great steak for my DH, tasty French toast for our friends. And they had grits! Yay! The prices are more than reasonable. Well worth getting off I-84 if you’re passing by in the morning.(They’re only open ’til 2PM on weekdays, 1PM on Saturdays.)

Stopped here randomly on a road trip, totally worth it! Husband and children had breakfast food and I had a lunch wrap. Everything was very good.

Visiting the neighborhood and decided to stop in for breakfast. Friendly, fast, fabulous food. Lost track of how much coffee I had. The Hamburger Omelet was perfectly done. Ingredients included burger, onions, cheese, lots of spinach — and Lord knows what else. I’ll definitely go back next time I’m in the neighborhood.

We only go about once a year but we enjoy the breakfast here. Sometimes it’s too busy for the number of servers, so we don’t have the time to frequent very often plus we live 20 minutes away. It’s a tad pricey in my opinion. But the food is always good!

Little roadside breakfast place. Quickly and easy with good coffee. My eggs were cooked as I asked and the prices were fair. The homemade hash was a bit undercooked. It seems to be a place for locals to have breakfast. It was just what we were looking for to stop for breakfast.

The location is close to home. The food is nothing out of this world. Service is slow… Good coffee. The hash browns are worth the trip. Overall experience I give 4 stars.

Tasty food, good service. I had an omelet with home fries and toast. The omelet was good(fairly normal), and actually the home fries stood out with just the right mix of overall softness and crispy finish. We were there on a particularly cold day(teens I think). As others have noted they keep it cool inside. I am fine with that(and similarly am fine with mid-60s at home much of the time), but you might want to look for a seat further from the door /closer to the pellet stove. All in all, a great place to stop off near the highway(we were making our way south from Boston).

I hadn’t been to Track Nine in years. Each time I’d dined there, it has been memorably pleasant and the food good. Today, I went with a friend, our first time there together to share the dining experience. I was a bit surprised to find it so COLD inside, especially on a winter’s day in January. Granted, the outside temperature was in the low 40’s, I truly think it felt like it was nearing that indoors. In the past, I’ve had a delicious cheeseburger, so I felt like duplicating that nice memory. The first thing that was odd was the waitress approached our table with a jacket on. Waitresses were wearing vests and jackets. Truly an odd apparel in a restaurant. There was a pallet fed stove in the far end of the restaurant in the second half of it. Any heat from there, had no prayer of sending it to the main section where we ate. I ordered my cheeseburger, fries, and coffee. Of note was the bun was huge, not as I remembered, and far too much bread than I prefer. The patty, while having requested medium-rare, was in parts, almost too rare, thus a turn off and boring. The fries were delicious, as was the coffee. The service was lax, and not on top of offering refills of coffee, nor hot water to my friend for his tea. As for cleanliness. .. the eating portion was okay, but the bathroom was very bad, and if asked to grade it, I’d have to give it a D-, as the toilet was in desperate need of being cleaned. This was not the best of restaurant experiences, and unlike any had there before today. So, I’d have to say, they’ve gone downhill over the years.

It’s your basic friendly diner(depending on who answers the phone), not all of the employees sound as if they want to be there but overall the service is nice and the food is cooked when ordered so it’s fresh and I must say, it taste darn good. I like this place.

Love this place. I have been eating at the track nine for over 12 years and it never disappoints. Great food, served fast and hot, and always great service. Love the outdoor patio for breakfast on a warm Sunday morning !

On Saturday, 08÷22÷15, my wife and I decided to stop by for breakfast to try Track Nine again. The restaurant itself has an interesting layout. When you first walk in there’s a large rectangular self serve coffee island. It’s awkward and kind of in the way. Then there’s the large, cloudy fish tank, again, awkward. I guess if you’re going to have a fish tank in a diner at least have it really clean and clear. Anyway, we sat ourselves at a booth and our server promptly came over to help us. I ordered two eggs over easy, ham steak, home-fries, grilled English muffin and de-café coffee. My wife had French toast and a side of ham. The food came out promptly. My eggs were cooked perfectly, the English muffin was grilled nicely and the home-fries were tasty. My ham-steak was, well, a thin slice of ham, disappointing. A ham steak should be a thick piece of ham, like a, yes, steak. My wife’s French toast was good. Who knows what kind of syrup was on it as the syrup was in a no name squeeze bottle. Total cost for both breakfasts was about $ 20. The food was ok but the service was very good so I’m upping Track Nine to 3 stars.

This is the place to stop for a hot breakfast with great service! Food is fresh cooked to order and came out hot. The coffee was good too. The staff knew most by name that came in, we were just passing through on our road trip.

Nice place for a breakfast stop. Basic menu… eggs, omelets, pancakes, French toast, etc. The place has a comfortable, New England feel to it. Nothing fancy. Service was very friendly and thorough. The food arrived quickly and was all correct. Coffees were refilled on a regular basis. There was also a decent looking lunch menu that would be nice to try when I’m back in the neighborhood.

This is the breakfast honey hole in an old train station building. Even when busy seating is fast and food is out before you know it. Friendly staff and food is excellent. Portions are large and the home fries are the bomb. House maple is awsome and omlets. Kids love the micky pancakes. Best breakfast spot in the area no doubt. Bring your friends bring your family bring the neighbors. Prices are good and quality even better. BAM

They have the best grits in town! If your a fan of grits, check this place out! The restaurant has about 5 booths, plenty of tables to sit at, and even a breakfast bar area, if you go alone, cute counter tops that relate to «track 9 railroads.»… Go go go!

The food is good and the service is too. Nothing spectacular, but good, solid dinner food. The prices seem a bit high, given what it is, but the quality seems good too.

Solid local breakfast/lunch establishment in the middle of nowhere! Track Nine is named for the railroad tracks adjacent to the diner(not to mention the fact that it used to be a rail station). It provides the locals – and travelers to The PVD™ – with an AOK food experience at easy prices. While I enjoyed my breakfast(an omelet with hash and cheese, served with home fries, toast and coffee), I was dismayed to know how cold it was in the building. Servers wore their winter coats and space heaters were evident in the building. It’s a solid place to eat on the way to another destination. Don’t go out of your way to eat here. There’s no real historic significance to the building, nothing that would draw you here unless you were a train lover who just needed to eat at every train themed diner there is. I’d eat here again. Service was friendly and quick. But I’d wait until spring when it was more comfortable indoors!
