I’ve only been here once, and that’s relevant in discovering whether a used bookstore’s inventory changes over time. This is the problem I have with Cavitt Corner in Bryan. The store is at least twice the size of Cavitt Corner, and has lots of cheap paperbacks. Its kind of like a thrift shop for books. But I love old ppb’s if they are still relevant, as in fields like philosophy, social critique & history(if you’re discerning– there’s lots of outmoded thought here). You’ll find tons of outdated psychology/sociology at these kind of bookstores: I pretty much skip those sections. I think that if you buy 2 – 3 cheap books on a used bookstore visit, then it was worth it. If you return within a year and leave with more, then you have a winner. I will have to return to see about that.
