Let me start by saying that I went to buffalo trails campground with a tent and unbeknownst to me, they hadn’t allowed camping for two years. It is strictly a RV campground now. Having said that, Lee, the host, let me rent a space for the evening anyhow. My girlfriend and I came to Williston with the idea of checking out how the boom had changed this blue collar town. So disclaimer: we did not go to buffalo trails to camp and see the sites nor should anyone. It is a simple RV campground with an affordable rate and good people. I believe it is $ 30 to rent a space fit for a camper per evening. A great price and only about four miles away from the main drag. Lovely staff and campers.
