Minute Lube

First, this place is expensive for an oil change. Just a plain oil change with no extras is about $ 52, after tax. Secondly, that price is supposed to include a vacuuming of the front of the car. They did a quick job of it and left about 80% of the dirt on the floor (and no, the car wasn’t filthy; it just had what most would consider a normal amount of dirt). Third, you’re expected to know your license plate number when you walk in the door. That would be ok if you had some kind of warning, but you don’t find this out until after they take your car in for service and you have to deal with the cashier. The cashier won’t do anything with you until you go back out, get your plate number, and come back. They need your plate number because they use CarFax and apparently when you tell them the number, they have all your information right there, including your name, address, etc. In my opinion, that’s more information than a quick-​lube place needs to just change your oil.
