Sonesta ES Suites

Great room for the price. I’ve stayed in a bunch of inexpensive motels in the past couple of months; this was BY FAR the best. Friendly staff. Excellent room with a sitting area and fireplace and full kitchen. Everything was clean. Everything worked. The only downsides: no convenient way to get from the room to the pool or the breakfast area; the room was cold when I got there, and took a long time to really warm up (it was Vermont in winter); and the bed — while perfectly adequate and comfortable, and I slept great — could use some sort of mattress topper that provides a bit more cushioning. Other than that, I was very very pleased with and surprised by how nice this place is.

I purchased a Groupon for a stay here. I bought one for a 2 bedroom suit and also a studio. We spent our Thanksgiving holiday here.
1.) I did not have any issue with check in. Our rooms were ready, very clean, and was greeted by friendly and helpful desk staff.
2.) The 2 bedroom suit had privacy and ample space for my husband and I to share with my sister and her 3 young children. I loved that there was a second bathroom as well — each located by the bedrooms.
3.) The kitchens had all plates and utensils you could need — and appliances were modern and worked great!
4.) There were 3 televisions — it was great!
5.) A great heated indoor pool and hot tub! Had a changing area in the pool area with towels and everything — making it possible to swim despite 35 degrees outdoors!
6.) Complimentary breakfast buffets was a huge perk! Very nice food selection and tasted great!
7.) Room service was efficient and kept us well stocked without us asking for replenishment of supplies.
8.) LOCATION IS GREAT! We did shopping for food for our suits day one and had three grocery stores to chose from all within 5 – 10 minutes! Black Friday shopping was a breeze, and there are great historical spots to tour! If you were seeking a restaurant there are also plenty of those too!
9.) HUGE PERK was that they kept coffee, tea, and cocoa 24 hours a day fresh and fully stocked in the main lobby area for free.
We loved our stay! If you get a chance and have a need to stay here — I highly recommend it!
