U-Pack Moving

I’ve used u-​pack moving for two cross country moves. While they are cheaper than a full service mover, I don’t use them only for the cost. I like to use them because the process is quick, straight forward and convenient. They deliver you cubes, you pack them, they take them to your new place and you unpack them. Your stuff is locked up using your personal lock and packed just the way you want it. In my two moves, nothing has broken! Compare that to your average full service move! Anyhoo, both moves’ transit times (NY to CA, CA to VT) were quoted at 6 – 8 business days but took 5 business days to complete. The terminal personnel were friendly and easy to deal with – especially the Williston terminal. I signed for my cubes on Thursday night and they said that I could have 24 hour access to them all weekend to unload. So convenient!
Note: I should clarify that I couldn’t have them deliver the cubes to my new apartment because of winter parking issues, so I had them keep the cubes at the Williston terminal for me to unload to my new place.
