Most horrible service ever! Manager Shane was his name came to check on us we told him the apples in the pie was crunchy, he said he would go check on the process, never came back, we were seated by the kitchen and we seen and heard his rude remarks about us, I told the waitress of his rude behavior that we observed, which was not her fault, she apologized for his actions, she then went and told him what we said and we could see his childish behavior once again, I have been to many Perkins and have never seen such horrible service, our family will not be going back to Perkins in Willmar!

We have given this place about 6 too many chances and everytime we leave we always ask ourselves «why did we come back»?..
We both grew up going to Perkins on Sunday as part of routine but the Perkins in this town of Willmar is terrible.
Between the very subpar service, the multiple times of undercooked food, or the portions that would make a 5 year old still hungry. We can honestly say that after our experience today we are officially done with Perkins.
Here’s to the breakup Willmar Perkins. it’s been real.

I ordered off their light menu where all entrees were less than 600 calories. It was Tuscan chicken with a side of rice. I asked to substitute a plain baked potato for their rice and was told no because they couldn’t guarantee the calorie count. Even though I said that was fine, they wouldn’t accommodate (also, a plain baked potato would have less calories than that rice!). I can’t believe that any restaurant would turn down a such simple request and compromise customer service like that! However, the chicken was pretty good. The service was also very slow. My brother waited for over half the meal for a soda refill. The server never checked back after giving us our meal and was nowhere to be seen.

Perkins has always been a good place to go to get a home cooked meal. This location does a good job of that. The service here is pleasant for the most part too.
You know what to expect when going to eat at a Perkins. Consistent food quality and choices. There is plenty of seating, parking, and menu options. Check them out if you are in the area. I would go back again.
