Walked in and had to walk out without buying anything. Some food wasn’t labeled with prices and the labels that did exist were unreadable. Customers were in front of all the cases so I couldn’t even see food to help make a decision. Unless you know exactly what you want and/or have beyond perfect vision(or psychic powers to guess prices), you will be as frustrated as I was. Not everyone is a chatty extrovert and wants to hold up the line asking prices and trying to decide what they want.

I ordered my husband’s Eagles birthday cake from here. There was a mix up with the cake and the cake was not what I asked for. The supervisor and the young girls all had attitudes that worked there. I spoke with the owner, she tried to correct the problem and delivered the cake to our location at no additional charge. Unfortunately, the cake was stale and the people that ate the cake got really sick. I had good experiences in the past with them. Not sure what is going on but I was really disappointed despite the owner’s best efforts.

You have to try the baby pies in the little tins. My cherry pie was great! You’ll definitely score bringing some home for your ladies!

Best bakery in PA. Got birthday cakes for everyone in the family for the last 25 years here. The cookies are great, and the petite fours are probably the best thing I have ever eaten. I moved to Indiana a few years ago, and they have nothing like this bakery out here. Whenever I visit my family I always stop by to take back loads of stuff. Highly reccommended.

My first visit was pleasant, staffs were extremely helpful and sweet. However, when packaging these pastries, they weren’t the best. Came home to a crushed cheesecake and cupcake :(and I don’t know what she was thinking when she decided to put the decorated pound cake piece with frosting on top with a bunch of cookies not expecting it to get smushed. eh they need to package it better otherwise the sweets itself is pretty tasty and not sugary or sweet, which I love!

I was born and raised in Willow Grove Pa. I’ve been in Florida for the past 3 years. Every year I’ve called and requested a bday cake be delivered to numerous family members. Today I had a cake delivered to my mother for her bday. .you all didn’t disappoint! Wish there was a Weinrich Bakery here in Florida. Thanks for your excellent customer service and delicious cakes! It’s the next best thing to being in Willow Grove with my family! Much appreciated! Talk to you next year!

The best bakery I’ve been to in the Abington area. The cupcakes are moist and delicious and the frosting isn’t too sweet. The rolls are fantastic. I cannot speak to the quality of their custom made cakes, but I’ve never seen someone disappointed when they pick– up.

So friendly, so delicious! The owner is great — took some time to come over and share the bakery history with us. The sticky buns were the perfect amount of crunch and sticky. Butter cookies were light and buttery. Ladies at the counter made me want to try it all– next time I will try the rum cake ! Dolores @ the coffee area makes you want to stay and chat. Glad we found this place !

Ordered a sheet cake for a graduation. Decoration was good and icing was also. However cake itself(marble) was dry and crumbled like sawdust. Very disappointed.

I make it a point whenever I am in town to stop here for a nice selection of tasty treats. Weinrich’s never fails to disappoint. Classic goodies such as cookies, cupcakes, cakes and pie… along with petite fours(my personal favorite) and cannolis. The hubby says their coffee is pretty good too. Stop by for a sweet treat and remember… share with the family!

Weinrich Bakey has that old school bakery charm. Not pretentious or loud like some places these days. Their cakes with butter cream icing are legit. They also have delicious danishes, raspberry french twists, sticky buns, and donuts. I don’t think I’ve ever ordered something i didn’t like! Their staff is also very friendly and accommodating especially when ordering a specialized cake.

I’m new to the area and did a double take when I saw this bakery. It looks legit and old fashioned. I didn’t go crazy inside I bought a few mini cannoli’s, some baklava and a big mini mouse cookie for my daughter. I’m going to just give a quick list of pluses and down falls. But please know this I’m not giving up on this place yet, I will be back as I hear their Danish and donuts are incredible. I also heard they have great holiday treats but for now my star rating is based upon my list below. They were painting so it had a strong paint smell which does not go well with baked goods. I should have known better to not buy a Greek and Italian pastry from a German joint. The Baklava and cannoli was ok. Cannoli had good chocolate chips but the cream was not real deal cannoli cream it was way too light and fluffy and the shell was ok. Baklava was … Well put it this way we have had baklava in Cyprus, enough said on that. The giant cookie for my daughter looked amazing it was decorated very nice but it had no flavor, yes I had to take a bite from her cookie. It was very deceiving, a cookie like that should have a nice rich taste, it tasted literally like nothing. For now I have to give this place 2 stars but I had a very small selection from their pretty decent size variety. The staff was nice so I will be back. I do hope I can give them a better rating. Donuts here I come.

Everything I’ve tried from here has been good; not great. The blueberry danish are nice, but last time I got a stale one. Cinnamon buns are average as are most of the other cakes & cookies. Have had sheet cakes which are tasty & nicely decorated. The cupcakes are fair; i. e the buttercream icing is great, but the cake itself, while fresh and moist, is a bit too light and not as rich as the frosting. I’ve seen cannolis, baklava, and donuts; but never tried any. To sum it up– just O.K. Nothing mind-blowing.

Awesome cupcakes! I experienced them at a work function when a coworker brought them as a dessert option. I haven’t experienced anything else from this shop but I have a feeling you won’t be disappointed!

This review is for the Stollen! Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place! I haven’t tried their coffee but i’ve had their cannolis and I can’t complain, they hit the spot. But the real reason to come here is for the Stollen. It’s sweet, packed with dried fruit and it’s so delicious with coffee or on its own. I probably gain 10 lbs eating a whole 2 lb stollen myself but it’s worth it!

DONUTQUESTCHAMPIONSOFAR! There isn’t a thing here I haven’t taken a bite of and not LOVED(discounting anything with buttercream filling because that’s just a personal preference). The seating area located on the right side of the store is where you order your coffee and can sit around a marble table with cushy chairs and a charming décor. There is also a TV up in the corner, permanently fixed on the Food Network. If you aren’t sure what to order, they thoughtfully provided a colorful chalkboard full of favorite beverages from all the staff members you could try. The donuts themselves are created with master baking skills, which I can tell because everything is light, yeasty, flavorful and not at all greasy or ever stale. My favorite donut, powdered with custard filling(aka Bavarian for some ppl), is not something they normally make, but will custom make any donut you like if you call ahead the night before. I have totally done this and I am a customer for life now. Delicious! I have seen a nice variety of specialty donuts during my few visits so far, including such novelties as apple filled donuts and red velvet donuts(which my son gobbled up!). I have not tried their cakes, but they offer tiered cakes by a per person pricing, which are made from pound cake. They also have lighter sheet cakes. I will eventually have to sample their muffins and cookies because they look pretty good too, but for now, I will stick to my donut quest. While I was visiting this establishment one fine morning, I decided to ask the matron of the establishment, the master baker’s wife, Mrs. Weinrich for a tour of the place. I had noticed the cases full of vintage baking wares and was intrigued by the old Dutch/German looking cookie/candy molds. She happily gave me a story about every black & white photo in the place, including the original bakery in 1915NYC all the way down through the family members(aka indentured servants to the bakery) to their wedding photo.
