Subway

After a long days drive, the only woman working was SUPER pleasant and efficient. We usually stop in Willows for a break, since there is this Subway and also a Starbucks next door. Super easy access on/​off I-​5.

One of the better Subway Restaurants I have been to. A very busy establishment as well. Very friendly employees who go out of their way to accommodate customers. We had some very different orders and there was no confusion on the part of our sandwich maker after mentioning the combination of ingredients only once for each sandwich. Kind of remarkable in this day and age. I am definitely a fan of Subway as I appreciate fresh ingredients and fresh bread. The only thing Subway lacks is real whole wheat rolls. I don’t know if it’s due to the way in which bread dough is prepared and baked, but it really is a shame to not have real whole wheat bread. I have noticed that many restaurants also do not carry the falafels any longer (or if they ever did?) but this is a sorely missed menu item now too. Thanks Subway for keeping it fresh. Really nice store in the Willows, California location. Keep up the good work.

Fast, friendly service! Great hours of operation.
The ingredients were fresh and our sandwiches were tasty. They didn’t skimp on ingredients like other locations do. Seating area and restrooms were clean. Prices were reasonable even though this one didn’t have the $ 5 footlong you hear advertisements for occasionally. $ 6 was the lowest priced footlong sub.
Be careful coming here if you are in a car that sits low to the ground, entering the parking lot is ok but the exit can be treacherous! There are countless grooves in the pavement as proof…

The girl that works here is really cool & she makes great sandwiches! The pickings are slim for a vegan person in areas like this, so Subway was the safest thing in sight since I was starving!
I had her make me a veggie sandwich, all the good stuff, and she listened to everything I wanted & didn’t try to add things I didn’t ask for. Perfect sandwich, perfect service!

Not much meat on these sandwiches. Try Sani Food Market Deli if you want a good sandwich.

I think by the virtue of this place having a subway is already a thumbsup. Where else in this place can you get a whole wheat oven roaster chicken sandwich? I admit, the quality is definitely on and off depending on who is making your sandwich and how much training they’ve had, but still … it’s probably the cheapest healthiest thing you could have amidst all the fast food chains and greasy Mexican restaurants.
They don’t typically do a lot of the specials they advertise on TV here so be weary when you walk in for a five-​dollar foot long since you probably won’t find it.
