Under Friedman’s mis-​direction, the home health nurse had no choice but to discharge my mother. My mother’s case was a classic textbook example of a geriatric patient who denied needing any intervention. Rather than continuing to provide home visits, which I begged them to continue, Friedman negligently decided to write her off. This woman, and her social worker Joy Feldman and nurse Bill Garrett, should not be allowed to practice. This was a clear case of neglect and this agency is currently under investigation.

I find it incredibly odd that my mothers 24⁄7 caregiver is not required time off. And even more unsettling to walk in on the caretaker entertaining her son and his girlfriend in my mothers house and most likely using my mothers funds to feed them a holiday type meal.

Run from this agency. The current caregiver refused to provide her name, what? Do they hire from America’s Most Wanted …

This place has many people who do not want to work. We’ve had a revolving door of caregivers who do not want to work with someone who is not ambulatory. If you have a fully functioning loved one, I’m sure you’ll like them. But don’t expect the caregivers to show initiative with things. Dirty dishes will sit. Laundry won’t get done. You will feel like the caregiver is a guest in your house.
