Really nice coffee shop conveniently located. Very spacious on the inside and plenty of table to sit at and do work. Overall environment is peaceful. I got the white chocolate raspberry drink, which was interesting and delicious. They also have local art work here for purchase!

We like the coffee here. Usually get coffee when we get our car washed at buff masters.

Much better than Port City Java(sorry PCJ). This latte doesn’t taste so burnt. My non-fat latte is very comparable to Starbucks. The barista was very pleasant too!

I have come in almost everyday since I discovered this little gem of a coffee shop. Everyone who works here is absolutely wonderful and of course the coffee is to die for! Anytime I have guests come into town… we stop here for a cup of joe instead of the over-rated Starbucks! In my opinion… this is Wilmington’s go-to coffee shop!

I originally heard about this place because I needed a coffee shop to display my artwork for a project and some friends suggested it. Although my need for a location was last minute, the owner, James, was happy to help. When I told him about my art display, his exact words were«hell yeah» haha. The day of my art display, it seemed that James got the dates mixed up because his workers were confused, but they let me do it anyways, which was awesome! Instead of sitting around for 3 hours with nothing to do and not purchasing a thing, I decided to order something. I ended up getting a mocha frappé and it was soooooo delicious. Unlike Starbucks’ Frappacinos, this frappé was deliciously smooth and refreshing. It was so good, I came back the next day to try their other frappé flavors. All amazing. It’s a bit far so I can’t exactly go whenever I want, but whenever I’m close by, you’ll definitely see me there. Also, the baristas were wicked. I know one was Jamie, but the girl I didn’t catch a name. Jamie is very friendly and funny though!

Nice enough place & staff. It would have been nice to not wait to brew an entire batch of coffee. You know run in get a cup and roll? I guess that is a missed concept.

Good atmosphere, GREAT coffee, Good service, Good music, and tables big enough to spread out books and laptops. Wifi connection is good. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of parking with access from more than one road/entrance.

I have to say that the service and quality of the coffee are top notch. The regular cup of hot coffee was so good that I didn’t even add sugar. I have to say that this is by far the best cup of coffee that I have had in Wilmington and I can not wait to go back. Oh did I mention that the customer service was fantastic as well. Way to hit a home run guys! Yummmmmmm

I stopped in to get some work done while getting my car washed at the Buff Masters next door. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the fall squash and mango smoothie I got is delicious! The interior is comfortable, with a couple tables available near outlets as well as some comfy seating for casual gethering in the middle of the space. The music selection is way better here than at Cobblestone, where it’s like Mom & Dad’s golden oldies and pop 80s music. It’s still pretty pedestrian though: Nirvana, Neil Young, The Doors, Hendrix, etc. The wifi is a not the fastest, and since I’m the only customer here, I would be concerned about contention if the place had a crowd while I was trying to work. Overall, I would say Addicted to the Bean is off to a good enough start with excellent service and drinks, and with a couple adjustments, this would be a fine place to spend a few hours at work.
