Down to two stars. BUT please do adopt from here, they are a KILL SHELTER, most animals have around 30 days.
I adopted a cat that had been surrendered, meaning it was up to date on all shots. It took me almost a week to get the proper paperwork settled, even though all they had to do was issue me a new rabies tag… if not for Needham Animal Hospital, it would not have happened.
Also, a hint for you pet owners in Wilmington… NEVER tell anyone about your pet biting anyone, unless its an emergency room type of injury. If animal control gets wind of it, your pet will be quarantined for 10 days, maybe at your home, but maybe at your vet, at your cost. If you can keep it at home, you will get three random visits from an animal control «officer»…my last one was Sunday at 8:30AM…yes, I was still in bed… its Sunday!
Also when looking at animals to adopt here, do your best to not get bitten, if you do, one guess what happens to it after 10 days quarantine.
