What can I say that hasn’t already been said about this place? I’m moving to Florida in two weeks, and with each flavorless gyro, dry falafel, and canned hummus that I hesitantly eat out there, a single tear will drop from my eye as I fondly remember all of the incredible meals that I was fortunate enough to have at both Wilmington Baba Ghannouj locations. I can sit here for hours thinking of something to complain about, and it simply isn’t going to happen. The food, the portions, the service… all top notch. This is quick service perfection, and I’m positive that i’ll never find anything to replace it. So goodbye Baba Ghannouj, I’ll try to let go, but i’ll never forget you.

Everything at baba ghanouj is amazing! The namesake baba ghanouj is an eggplant dish served with pita. They also have other hard to find dishes like pickled eggplant stuffed with rice and red peppers. I suggest the grilled cheese made with pita, feta and provolone.

I love the name. It‘s a nice place to get a quick bite, and feeling healthy about what you have just eaten.

I had lunch here for the first time today. I can’t wait to go back. The food was delicious, healthy, beautiful to see. The restaurant is extremely clean and has an air of being upbeat and friendly.

Our go to place in Wilmington. Chicken gyros are the best we’ve had in the country. Their Jalapeño sauce is great on anything. Service is always fast and friendly even during the lunch rush.

Love this place! Came here when they first opened, got the curry chicken, was good. Everything my husband and I have tried, we liked. We keep coming back for more! Recently they have added the Casado platter, my Lord, it’s the best: chicken, black beans, avocado salad, rice, plantain, cilantro sauce = all my favorites on one plate. Baba Ghannouj will not disappoint

This is hands down my favorite quick service place to eat at in Wilmington. There is sincerely nothing on the menu that falls short — I try to be adventurous every time I go in, so I’ve tried many items on the menu, and each is as delicious as the next. My favorite item — and one that I highly recommend — is the chicken shawarma wrap. It is stuffed filled with deliciously marinated chicken, French fries, and a special, tangy sauce. Baba Ghannouj is one of the best Greek/Mediterranean restaurants I’ve ever visited. And every person I take here always raves about the place upon leaving. If you’re looking for healthy, but delectable and affordable food, definitely try this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

Delicious! This place is the real deal. Ordered one of the platters with«choose your own salads» — super delicious and good size portion for lunch. Everyone on my plate was eaten but what was even more surprisingly good was the homemade array of salsas! They all had their own unique tastes and every one was yummy. The ambiance is more of a hole in the wall than a restaurant and I would recommend it more for lunch than dinner due to this. It’s also short on seating. However if you are looking for a quick bite of mouth-wateringly delicious hummus, tzatziki, or vegetarian options this is your place.

Delicious Mediterranean food right on college road. Not fast food but it was QUICK! The gyros platter was awesome and the humus and cucumber salad were both awesome! Yummmm!,

Amazing food, great taste, not heavy. We went for the restaurant week specials tonight. Excellant gyro, fries and chicken platter. Tasty cucumber sauce.

Lamb Kebab platter — Excellent Chickpea Salad — Excellent Hummus & Pita — Excellent Staff — Friendly and Helpful The ONLY drawback was that they were out of Basmati Rice, and that happens. The quality made me totally not care… and the Caesar Salad substitute was pretty good. 5 stars, all the way.

I really like this place. Great fresh food, clean, and I think the price is reasonable. I had a Greek chicken gyro. Not only is it good but it was plenty of food. My wife had a beef gyro platter. She loved it.

I feel really generic just saying this place is awesome– but it is! It is my humble opinion that Baba Ghannouj is providing little Ol’ Wilmington with the best gyros in town. The food is super fresh and simply delicious. Plus, the gyros are massive. No need for anything else, unless you just really want it, which I wouldn’t blame you… Come here, order at the counter, grab a center in this super-casual little eatery and dig in!

Great stuffed grape leaves and excellent yogurt sauce. It’s a bit crowded where you order, so you may want to check out a menu beforehand. Wouldn’t really accommodate a large group.

Very friendly staff. Very flavorful food. Too pricey. $ 22 for 2 «platters» coulda easily been $ 15 for what you got. Since when did a platter only be a meal’s worth? If I get a platter I wanna gut bust. I wanna breath heavy afterwards. I want that good left arm slight soreness. Not be forced to go back and order an additional pita bread to clean up the sauces left over. But great eats. The hummus was the only«eh» thing. The gyro was amazing with the homemade white sauce shit. The tabouli was juicier than most which was cool. The greek salad was normal. The falafels(sp?, care) were good but olé lady loved em. The pita bread was delicious. I would go back but prob just get the gyro, F the«platter.»

Absolutely delicious. The Greek gyro was made to order with fresh ingredients. The Greek version added olives and feta to the mix. The cucumber sauce was the best ever. We got the combo with hummus which was by far the best we have ever had? Combine this great food with a nice atmosphere that was enhanced by relaxing music and you can’t go wrong!

Seriously might be the best lamb gyro and stuffed grape leaves I’ve ever had. I’ll be a regular here without a doubt! I’m here a few times a week. Every time the food is cooked perfectly. The owner remembers who you are after the first time also!
