Over all experience was good! The employees were all friendly and professional and the owner who was also my stylist was very warm, professional and worked quickly but did a good job. What made this not great was the long wait but the owner did address this and assure me this wouldn’t be a normal experience and he apologized for my wait. I appreciated that and it made me feel like he appreciated and wanted my business. I really love the cut the stylist Ebon gave me but I wish he got my roots better since I have natural hair and need a little more heat closer to the scalp. But we will see how it holds up overall and next time I will specifically request more heat at my roots. Love to support black businesses and if the hair holds up I will definitely return! Also the salon itself is beautiful with comfortable wash chairs and bowls and modern styling! Keep up the great work!

I’ve been a resident of Delaware for about 13 years now and let’s just say that I have had some bad experiences with stylist in Delaware. I am a Philly born and bred girl so, I know the true meaning of the word tossed. My husband and son followed their barber to Babe and hubby was impressed with the stylist. I was skeptical but decided to give Ebon, Master Stylist/​Owner an opportunity to impress me. Lol. I had my third visit this weekend and I am very happy with Ebon. I’ll be getting highlights next… I’ll keep you posted.

Great experience !! I was visiting from out of town and needed a blow out. Friendly staff, great music and a nice vibe.

My experience at Babes was truly a breath of fresh air! Everyone was very professional and team players (The staff was short assistants so the front desk receptionist jumped right in to assist the stylists), while still holding down the front and maintaining her pleasant disposition.
Courtney was amazing (I wanted to put him in my packet and take him home!) He’s funny, fast but still thorough and Professional, at one point while Courtney was styling me, I asked if he needed me to hold my ear, he responded with almost with a chuckle «no, this is what I do»,
It hasn’t been my experience to get a great cut and stellar service, I have always had to compromise one or the other so I am extremely happy that I was recommended to BABES, I will be returning again and again, actually let me get off of here and make my next appointment now…
P. S. The massage chair in the shampoo area is so a sweet plus!

I’ve been to this salon a few times and have recommended it to some family and frienss. This hair salon is really one of the best hair salons in the Wilmington area. I’ve gotten my natural hair twisted and dyed here and I’m a very satisfied customer. I don’t go to many hair salons but I love the recommendations they give you on what’s best for your hair. They are Consistent and very organized at this salon and they only want what’s best for you and your hair.

I used to drive all the way to Philly to get my hair done. Luckily, a friend told me about Babe a few months into my move to Wilmington. I absolutely LOVE this salon. As soon as I walked in a knew I was in good hands. The salon is clean and each of the stylists looked well put together and fashionable.
I am very protective of my hair and its length. My stylist Eric was friendly, took his time, and gave me a blow-​out like I’ve never had before. I highly recommend Babe if you care about the health of your hair and the best finish!

OK so i was a little skeptical when i came in… It had been years since i stepped into a hair salon. I was looking to get a natural, easy to manage style that would help my restore my hair’s health. The wash i received was wonderful, and the blow dry actually showed me the true length of my hair, which i thought was much shorter than it was. The ultimate delight was my stylist Eric, who did an awesome job with my hair. He gave me a style that was simple and beautiful. Overall; the atmosphere and service i received was wonderful, i will definitely be back

My favorite place in Wilmington for a blow dry, sexy bouncy curly ringlets. They provide many services relaxers, hair weave, color, makeup etc. The stylist are edgy and very talented. This salon has such a cool trendy vibe. The owner Ebon is fantastic. He Is going to be the next Ted Gibson. YVonne the Salon creative director is super friendly. She always greets me when I arrive at the salon. The styling assistance are so professional and they do an awesome job blow drying my hair. I have only dealt with Joia and dejai they are both awesome.
