This place is on point. Lots of choices, good service, price isn’t to bad. Definitely a favorite spot to go.

I was search around for somewhere new to grab lunch when I stumbled upon this place! Staff was nice and welcoming. The food was fresh and best part is you create your own rice or noodle bowl. They have multiple options to choose from and lots of sauces to! Here prices are cheap and the quality is excellent. Also it’s all you can eat so grab seconds and don’t look back.

Went for lunch today, great wait staff! The food was ok. In my opinion was very salty and the beef and chicken, which Is shaved thin too cook fast, on the large grill, which I understand. It just was not fresh tasting. This is a place I could eat every once and a while. But not often. I give three Stars only because the waitress and cook where so good at there jobs.

One of the better Mongolian places I’ve been to. Came in hungry and left satisfied. Wasn’t a fan of the egg drop soup but I’d definitely come back for the Mongolian.

One of my favorite places to eat! You can eat as healthy as you like and as much as you want at a very reasonable price. They also give you soup, sesame bread and rice to go along with your meal. Fill up your bowl and let the chef cook it for you on the large round grill!

I knocked it down because because the interior needs work. Dingy, smelly carpet and quirky layout, but the food… You can go veg here. Sure, meats have hit the grill, but tofu and beans are your protein option. The beer and wine selection is thin but not bad for a strip mall place. The fried rice was meh as was the bread option. Creating your own dish. Not too shabby.

It is located in a strip mall close to the UNCW campus. We went to eat there on a Sunday evening. It was not packed, but had ample clientele. We had our favorite Mongolian Grill when we lived in Raleigh, Crazy Fire. We had not found an equal since moving here 2 years ago. This again was not Crazy Fire, but it was a close second. The choices for your bowl are plentiful as are the oils, sauces and spices. The food once cooked is quite yummy. The soup and fried rice were just okay, but the cooked food well made up for it. The great thing is it’s all you can eat, the bad thing is I am only a one bowl girl. Some people can definitely can there money’s worth in food. They serve alcohol if you like. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was good enough that we will definitely go back!

I love places like this. That being said, I’ve been to places that had more options. The food tasted pretty good but more options would be appreciated. The staff was very nice and friendly. The UNCW student discount is a positive touch because the dinner price can be a little steep for a college budget.

I’ve been to similar places and had more options. That said, everything else about this place was great. Their price is even great! I recommend this and the touches that everyone else mentioned in reviews are true.

Shockingly good value per person for an AYCE place. I like that you get to build your own bowl and season it as you wish. It’s great for groups because their meal flow isn’t dependent on your server waiting for everyone to decide– when you’re ready, you just get in line and start piling stuff in your bowl. Along with all the vegetables you could think of, you get to select your protein(s); when I was there, there was shaved beef, chicken(light and/or dark meat), pork, squid, and mini-shrimp, and then you choose from their assortment of sauces. Good stuff.

This has been on of my favorite places to grab lunch for a while. The food here is better than most other places like it that I have been. The staff is helpfull for the most part but when you go to pay they will be awkwardly staring to see what your tipping and will ask you about it. Food is delicious though

The food was very good, a lot of items to choose from. The service was great, especially for a busy Friday night and the price was very reasonable for an all you can eat buffet

Food = great Service = awesome Price = excellent The waitress obviously tries very hard and is eager to make every visit pleasant. Come here often with two toddlers and always leave happy. By far one of the best cheap restaurants in Wilmington, not just for Mongolian/Asian, for all segments. The little sesame seed bread things are like wedges of concentrated nirvana. After a bite I felt myself transported… an ancient dynasty, a rogue Mongolian warrior. After a long weary war, I have returned to my little hut in the country. I can smell the sweet bread that my devoted and patient wife has made for my glorious return… I would recommend this place to anyone. I can’t think of a single negative thing to say. If you have kids or don’t like spicy ask them to clean grill before you place order. I wrote this immediately after eating here and am in a state of euphoria and experiencing aphrodisiac type side effects.(Some results may not be typical)

No tofu? How do you have a Mongolian grill without tofu? Yes, I would love to have the option of brown rice and cashews, but tofu is just a given. They bring the soup out while you’re in the long line, so it is cold by the time you return to your table. The iced tea was watery and my husband’s fortune cookie was stale.

Basically this is Chinese food the way you want it! You can take the best parts of your meals from a Chinese restaurant and put them all together into one great dish, and the best part is, you can do that over and over. The soup we started off with left a bit to be desired, we had the egg drop. Rice was great that came with the meal, and then the main attraction which was the DIY meal without actually having to cook it, they do it for you. You go to a buffet style station and pick all your veggies, lo mein noodles, proteins, sauces, and put them all together in a bowl. The grill monger then takes the contents of the bowl and proceeds to cook them on this awesome hot round grill top and it takes a minute or two, and then you can garnish it with seasonings or sesame seeds and take it back to your table and enjoy and you can do it over and over. There are a few dozen items up there to put into your dish so there are good combinations. Highly recommend the potatoes and garlic sauce into one of your dishes. This is definitely a place I will frequent. Price is right on point, a little than that $ 10, but believe me, well worth it… I’m not one to overpay for something.

I was interested to try this place after all the rave reviews. I was greeted by a man right away who seated us and offered to show us «how it works». He also ended up being our server(I think he was serving everyone). The place is all-you-can-eat and a fun experience. You grab a bowl, pick what ingredients(pork, chicken, calamari, veggies, cilantro, etc.) and sauces(soy, teriyaki, sesame oil, etc.) you want, and the chef quickly stir-fries everything together. I enjoyed it because I love that you get to choose exactly what you want and experiment with different tastes. I am only giving it 3 stars for a few reasons. First, the atmosphere was terrible. Ugly, outdated, mismatched prints on the walls. Second, the food could have been a bit fresher. It is set up buffet style, so the food sits out for as long as it takes for it to run out. Some of the meats looked a bit creepy. I am an adventurous eater, so it doesn’t necessarily turn me away, but I know friends who would be turned off by that aspect. Because it is inexpensive, all-you-can-eat, and a fun dining experience, I will be back.

SOGOOD. I had just arrived in Wilmington on Friday after 7 long hours of driving down from my home in the DC metro area. I had taken a late lunch and it was very very very hot, so I wasn’t feeling extraordinarily hungry. Oh boy. I was brought here by my PI and definitely gave my belly a pep talk. Things were a bit confusing when I first sat down. They took drink orders and then asked if I wanted white/fried rice and what kind of soup I wanted. I opted for steamed rice and egg drop soup and then went to the grill to get nommed up. Some pretty great options! Since it was really hot, I didn’t want to have too much meat. Pretty great variety of veggies(although I don’t think I saw any garlic) and the meat looked quite fresh too. I got a bunch of little shrimp and some imitation crab, but I’m sure if I wanted meat I would’ve been fine with it. For sauces, they recommend 6 little ladles, but I wanted to keep it light, so I think I had about 5?(I have a pretty bland palate.) I put some oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sweet water on my bowl.(Not sure what the deal is with the sweet water, but I liked it a lot when I went back for a second bowl of just grilled veggies!) Soup was fine, and I didn’t try the sesame bread but apparently it’s da bomb or something, so I will DEFINITELY be back for more. Fun fact: It’s Chinese-owned, as evidenced by how excited the hostess got when I walked in and asked where I was from. I was confused, so I said«Maryland». Well I didn’t lie!
