I go in here every so often and get reminded right away why i avoid this place. This place is expensive, and not very friendly. $ 18 + dollars for a 12 of Fat tire. Total Wine has it for $ 14. You don’t have to be the cheapest, but be in the ball park. Kreston’s on 202 is much better.

The reason I like this wine shop because it has one of the best burgundy wine selections in Wilmington, with bottles from 15 to 70 dollars there is a good white burgundy for everyone. The cote du Rhone selection is also very expansive with a good collection of village level appellations as well. They have a nice collection of Napa Cabernet from 15 to 250 dollars, Some standouts include the 2010 Hewitt and 2010 Opus One. They have a nice selection of new world wines with a perdictable focus on Australia and Argentina. Though don’t think this store only has special occasion wines I had to walk by quite a bit of white zinfandel to find the good stuff. The beer selection is evenly split between domestic and craft beers with a nice collection of regional craft breweries such as Dogfishhead, Evolution, Fordham, and Twin Lakes. The spirit selection is good, with a decent bourbon collection, and more flavors of vodka then you might want and many different types of cordials and mixers. Scotch is well represented but without too many top flight offerings. All in all a very good wine shop most of the staff is well versed in at least one section of store, and many of them are deeply knowledgeable about their area of expertise.

I wouldn’t say this is my «go-to» liquor store if I have a large list, but it is extremely convenient on my way home from work. There is a fairly large selection of wines, and they have all of the basic beers/liquor. I usually find coupons in Clipper magazine which is a plus. Parking is very convenient, and it is never crowded(unless it is football season on a Sunday at 12pm– which is true at any liquor store).

Very nice wine specials. Buy three 750ml and receive 10% off. Six or more receives 15% off. Six or more 1.5L receives 5% off. Their selection overall is pretty good. Id say they cover a reasonably good range of spirits, beers and wines. Service is pleasant, with some folks warming up slower than others. Convenient place to shop when youre preparing for guests and need to hit a shopping market(Super Fresh) and liquor store.

Good liquor store in the N Wilmington area. Its right near the entrance/exit of Branmar Plaza, so its easy to get in and out of the parking lot. The wine selection is suprisingly good, and they have plenty of tastings on weekends. The beer selection is nice and they have large fridge for kegs etc. The prices are a little steep, but by and large, you can find some good sales in the weekly ads etc. Definitely recommend this store.

Good selection of beers in fridge. Decent selection of wine and liquor. Overall a little larger than your average liquor store in Wilmington. Clean, spacious, friendly staff. Easy parking.
