We will not eat at this Capriotti’s anymore, it is so poorly ran. I don’t know how it is not gone under. They must be riding on the name. The people working behind the counter are scary to say the least. Last time I was in one of the workers brought her kids to work and they were sitting off to the side. The time before that two of the employees got into a screaming fight. How do the owners not know about this?

Not sure who does quality control but they need to up their game. Big difference between subs made here or at Lantana Square or Basin Road. The subs lack that special flavor. The slicing of meat and cheese is so inconsistent. Two weeks ago we got Italian and a turkey sub and the Salami on the Italian was so thick that the 2 slices probably equaled 6 – 8 slices. My husband could hardly close the sandwich. The other day I ordered a Slaw B Jo and the provolone cheese was so overwhelming. Only 2 slices but they were so thick i had to remove the cheese. The cole slaw had very little flavor and the beef was dry and tasteless. Needless to say we won’t be going back to that location.

Always good subs but customer service today was horrible. They were short staffed, but took it out on customers. Very rude! I understand they were upset, but it was not the costumers ’ fault that some workers did not show up.

Went to this location on 10⁄1. Got home and my sandwiches were wrong. Called but they were closed. Called on 10⁄2 and the girl on the phone could of not been more ignorant. She could care less. Won’t be visiting this location again.

These are the cheesesteaks I miss living far away where there are no cheesesteaks. The meat is tasty. The blend of grilled onions, mushrooms & cheese was perfect. Best of all the roll was just the way a cheesesteak roll should be. I’m taking one on the road as I travel back to where I live.

I really loved their subs. It was always my go to spot for a sub. Recently I have tried numerous times to call an order in with no success. Every time I’ve called they quickly put me on hold and after 6 minutes of waiting I get frustrated and hang up. I’ve tried this 4 different occasions on different days with the same results. I have officially decided not to bother bringing my business to them anymore.

At first entrance it’s your common sandwich shop, but with confusing ordering. Everyone is spinning around between ordering or paying with no designated lines. Menu. The menu is painstakingly plain and small. I thought from the other reviews here I’d atleast see some homeade combinations that sparked my interest. The only homeade sandwiches sounded not good and like thanksgiving leftovers all containing cranberry or stuffing… I ordered the homeade turkey sub and it took 10 to 15 minutes for a cold sub I could of done in 10 seconds when I used to work at Harris teeter sub station. The price is high for sure as a tiny cup of juice was 2 dollars. The sub had no flavor in the meat, the turkey was dry like sand I couldn’t believe it the only flavor was salt and pepper then sprinkle on top. Dissapointed but I’m full so not a complete waste but wouldn’t come back or recommend.

Really super friendly, fast service. The hoagies are some of the best around. I make a point of coming to this Capriottis instead of the one that’s on my way home because they do such a good job.

I respect any sandwich joint that does it right, and Capriotti’s does it right. Sandwiches packed with meat and flavor. I really liked the Slam Be Jo that I got. I made sure to nab a twenty inch so that I could take half of it back with me to Virginia. Probably going to go get up on that in the next few minutes. I’m not sure what the average prices are around the area, but the one reviewer who said prices were high has probably never gotten a sub in Virginia. Around here a sub over twelve inches is hard to come by, and when you do find them, they’re around the $ 22.00 mark, so I was more than happy to pay $ 15.00 for a twenty inch.

Best sandwiches ever. Here on vacation visiting family and we went back three times in one week. The hubs ravs about the Philly cheese steak and Italian sub while I’m all about the«Bobbie». Nom nom and totally worth the price

YUMMO! Stumbled upon this place on a road trip and wowed at lunch time; so glad we beat the lunch rush that came after us about 12:45pm Saturday. Price looked high, but thought that was just cost adjusted for tax-free Delaware or something. Then the food came out. The portions are way bigger! The small sub measured over 9″. Got a cheesesteak w provolone, yummily melted, great roll, grilled onions, sweet peppers were grilled too! My oh my! and my dining companion got a black & blue salad, couldn’t finish it because it was so big. maybe ate a third of it. For where it’s located and what you get, outstanding!

The food is good people. The prices are high. The determining factor of satisfaction for me therefore was the service, which was piss poor. I just got bad attitudes all around at the Kirkwood location. Where do these people come off being snotty? You work at a sub shop, and not even the original one in my home neighborhood — Little Italy. These people are at a strip mall in the suburbs. Next time, it’s Yatz’ or Casapulla’s. I won’t go pay high prices for bad service. Get outta here!

Love the steak! I know being so close to Philly I should visit pat’s or geno’s but really, cheese wiz? I’ll pass on that and enjoy a nice cheesesteak from capriotti’s. Originally from Kennett SQ we would get take-out often from here. When I come to visit I make sure to get at least one during my visit. Love it here.

Just went there again for lunch today! As always I had a «Bobbi» which is a fresh shredded turkey with stuffing and cranberry and mayo. I order it without mayo and actually put some Herr’s potato chips in the sandwich and all I can say is YUM!!! All of their sandwiches are good but there is just something about the«Bobbi»! Be careful if you order a large because it is the size of two hoagies! Try to call ahead because many businesses call in huge orders and can slow down the grill. If you never had a «Bobbi» give yourself a Thanksgiving treat anytime the mood hits!!!
