Delicious wings absolute best in delaware county. Great size wings for a good price. If you love really hot wings the 8 sauces are sure to heat things up. Only problem is definitely their hours, but its there establishment they can do as they please. If you call theres a message if not open.

Food here is so great. Love all the unique choices. My colleagues and I LOVE grabbing lunch from here, unfortunately this rarely happens because THEY ARE NEVER OPEN! Constant disappointment checking their website to read they will be CLOSED AGAIN.

UPDATE: ⁹⁄₂₀₁₅: Still closed. To make matters worse, when you check their site it says, «Closed through [insert today’s date].» Then when you check it the next day, «Closed through [insert today’s date].» Look, if you’re going to be closed for more than one consecutive day (you are 99.9% of the time), do not pretend like you’re going to be open the next day. Just let us know the entire time you’re closed. «Closed through November 20, 2032.» It’s really frustrating and a giant «f-​you» to your customers to make us come back day-​to-​day.

So the ONE time I had the food here, it was great. but was it a dream? This place says on their website they are closed until one date… that date comes and you check again and it moves to a week later. The week later, you look again… closed until a further date. and so on and so on. This cycle has been going on for MONTHS!!! It is just mean at this point and now I can’t remember if the food was even as good as i’m imagining or if it is just because I can’t have it.ever. It is unusual for a business to be closed 3 months out of the year in the first place… but come on, pick a date and open already!!!

A decent place to go to, If they are open! Only business i have ever seen that is closed more time than it is open. Will close for months straight and yet they keep updating the website saying will open tomorrow, just to re-​update the following day. No business structure there.

I love this little café. Everything I have eaten here has been delicious. We probably eat here at least 4 to 5 times a month. Everyday I go to the website to see there daily specials.
They have so many choices. I have had there sandwiches, soup, salads, wraps and desserts and it’s all wonderful. But my favorite is The Dreamer sandwich a chicken salad sandwich. There chili is the best I have had in a very long time.
The prices are great most of there items are $ 7.50 to $ 9.00 and all sandwiches come with a side.

This place has weird hours and isn’t always open when it says it will be, but if you can manage to find it open the food is delicious!

On Monday (⁰⁷⁄₂₈), the three of us (my brother-​in-​law, my sister and I) decided to get sandwiches from this place for an early dinner before I headed back to Hoboken. I decided to get the Phoenix without the onions (crispy chicken, red peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, fresh spinach leaves, pepper jack cheese, and chili lime mayonnaise) with a side order of bagel chips. The sandwich came in a thin, delicious wrap, and I was stuffed by the time I finished it. The flavors were well blended and the wrap was not messy at all; everything stayed together when I bit into it.
I can tell this is the kind of place where a lot of care and attention is put into the preparation of each sandwich. I hope they keep their «down home» charm, because I want to try more of what they offer.

I have been here a few times over the past 3 years or so, and never have I been disappointed with the food. One of my favorites here is the Foul Ball — roast turkey breast, homemade bread stuffing and gravy in a bread bowl, with a side of dreamers fries — they’re always thick and extra crispy, just the way fries should be. They have a wide variety of salads, wraps, sandwiches and bread bowls that are great for takeout, or there are a few tables inside and outside the place where you can sit to enjoy your meal.
The only reason I won’t give this restaurant a higher rating is that their schedule is frustrating to figure out — there are regular hours posted, but they seem to close for a week or more at a time without any explanation. We’ve learned to always check the website before we drive down there to make sure they’re actually open, and more times than not we’ll have to postpone our trip because they’re randomly closed. When they’re open, though, the food is a treat!

Awesome amish wee. Friendly staff and very mom and pop. Can look in kitchen see all tell the food being made. Such a nice quiet calm place and go outside nice weather and relax.

I had the wings here when a friend and I went to lunch yesterday. I ordered the wings medium, and they were prepared to order. The wings were tender yet well cooked. The dreamer fries were good too. Crispy with parm cheese all over them. My friend enjoyed her egg salad sandwich, that she gets there all the time.

I agree with the other reviewers — unless you know you would drive right by here. This is a sandwich shop that has a «system» and operates very efficiently. This is not a place to go for the ambiance. They offer a good sandwich for a decent price.
There are several tables inside and several outside. Everything is served out of styrofoam takeout containers. We ordered the corned beef/​pastrami special and a fried chicken tender wrap, one with the bagel chips and one with Dreamer fries which are seasoned with Old Bay and Parmesan. I’m not an Old Bay fan, but the fries were quite good. The bagel chips were made with garlic flavoring and tasty. The sandwiches were huge and run $ 7. A very good value.
There are lots of choices and combinations so read the menu online before you go. We were clearly new and the folks behind the counter explained how they give you a metal thing with a letter on it after you order, so they can match the order with your table. After you are done eating, you bring you «letter» to the register and pay.
There are steps out front. If you drive round back to the parking lot, there is a ramp to the outside dining area and another door to the inside restaurant. It s wheelchair accessible, contrary to what the Unilocal app says.

I was in Wilmington today and used my Unilocal app to find a place to eat. I decided to check this place out based on their reviews. The place was packed with only a few empty seats available. I ordered the Ruffled feathers (roast turkey, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, sprouts and honey mustard (wish there was a bit more) on pumpernickel.) It was good and all fresh stuff. Also it was huge, I actually had to take the other half home to eat later. If I’m ever in the area again I will probably stop by. Also it’s attached to a clothing store (like they share the same front door) so you have to keep your eye out for the sign or you might drive right by it.

My work orders from here every so often. Really delicious food. I’ve only had a sandwich with a side of pasta salad but it was amazing. Sometimes its hard to get your phone order in, as you can call and call and no one picks up but at least its because this place is busy.
My only complaint is that they close the restaurant at random times and for weird lengths of time. My coworker believes its because they are so good, they can just afford to do it. Not to sure about it, but definitely a place to try if you’re in the area.

Hey, it was good. I had the cajun gumbo… very meaty, spicy and didn’t taste it came out of a can. My dining partner had a cold cucumber soup, which was tasty as well. Our salads were fresh, although I didn’t love the chicken on mine… it kind of tasted like processed/​pressed chicken. Still overall, it was a winner and I will be back!

I haven’t been to Dreamers in awhile, but I figured I owed this place a review because they seriously have the best bagel chips anywhere.
I haven’t really gone wrong with any of their sandwiches, but I usually go for the «New York, New York» which is a pastrami, corned beef, and Swiss club on rye. I don’t get all the other crap though.
It shares an entrance with a dress shop, so if you see that, you’re at the right place. I don’t really like the layout because the drink fridge is BEHIND where you order, and that can be a pain in the ass when it’s busy.
Other than that, it’s got cheap prices for the amount of food, and their wings are also very good.

Even though I worked a few miles away from Dreamers, it took me a couple years to give it a shot. Why? Well, it just looked so unassuming, tucked in the corner of a little next to a boutique. But holy ham sandwich, am I glad I came in.
Dreamers is fantastic. Every sandwich is filled with fresh ingredients and stuffed to the gills — it’s usually all I can do to chow down half of my Babe or Road Runner (two of my faves, but they’re all good, seriously). The stuffed bread boules are outrageously decadent and delicious. But what keeps me going to the gym are the Wrapinis — overstuffed wraps thrown under a panini press, served with a dipping sauce (I’m nuts for the Gondola Express, a turkey n’ spinach wrap with pesto mayo). Throw in a handful of beach fries and you’re set for the rest of the day. Wrapinis are as comforting as comfort food gets.
Service is friendly and efficient — the family vibe is infectious and charming, as is the «if you’re on the phone, you’re not placing an order» rule. My only quibble is the same as we all have — sometimes, the store is just closed. No warning, no indication, they’re just closed. I suspect it’s because the family dynamic is small, and the place is bustling — when one person calls out, it must be tough to survive the day. So call first, and try not to get your expectations up, just in case the restaurant is taking a sick day.
But if everyone’s there and all is well, for heaven’s sake, get to Dreamers and have yourself a wonderful meal.

Had major hunger pangs on my way from Philly to DC, so I busted out the handy dandy Unilocal food finding device and this place came up though it was eerily a little too close to the former landfill near 495 with that king dump truck parked on top of it for all around to see how close that landfill is to the Delaware river.
Anyway, back to the real story. I blew by this really small, easily hidden place and had to come back for a second pass to find it. So many great sandwich ideas, it was hard to nail down something and I just pulled the trigger on the Phoenix.
Good sandwich overall, I’d be back to try a lot of the others. The quality of the ingredients really comes through and it was well balanced. The beach fries were also pretty good, though I would still place more weight on Five Guys fries overall.
I would recommend this place have a more substantial sign near the street to flag down people who aren’t coming via word of mouth or Unilocal radar. Keep up the good work.
And they do accept visa/​mastercard for the person that said cash.

Came here for lunch w/​a co-​worker today with not alot of expectations after reading the mixed reviews.
We arrived around 11:30 not crowds and our pick of tables.
we both opted for the soup and salad combo. i chose the shrimp bisque and buffalo shrimp salad. Both ere really great the bisque wasnt too spicy but was full of actual shrimp which i loved. The salad was a little small for what i though a small should be but really good after i picked off the cukes (im not a fan) they are pretty generous w/​the amount of buffalo shrimp and they ask you to specify what type of hot sauce you prefer. The menu looks pretty goo and there a few options for veggie friendly eaters. the portions for sandwhiches were pretty huge enough for two meals for a small eater.
Ill def have to come back for another salad some other time
at under 18.00 for both of us to eat lunch id say it was a good deal.

I have been going here at least once a week for years now (probably over 200 times, come to think of it) and I am still in the process of having tried everything on their expansive menu, which has a few main sections (each with 10 – 20 items): salads, sandwiches/​wraps, wings, bread bowls, wrapinis, and others. A common theme regardless of what section you order off of: you get enormous portions of unique high-​quality food at a reasonable price. In addition, there are daily special items that can be incredibly off-​the-​wall yet tasty (spaghetti and meatballs served in a wrap, anyone?)
Salads: About a dozen offerings, mostly lettuce based. Any one of them will give the «big salad» from Seinfeld a run for its money. All of them include liberal amounts of meat (which will be a reoccurring theme). No guys need to feel embarrassed ordering from this section as all these items are just as macho as any of the traditional «guy foods» offered on the menu. My personal favorite; the «Fiesta Chicken Salad, includes lettuce, chicken, sour cream, tortilla chips, and all the other offerings you would normally expect at a burrito bar,
Sandwiches/​wraps: Think NYC deli sandwiches for the cost only slightly higher than the standard fare at a Subway. All sandwiches are piled about 6 inches tall with an array of high-​quality meats, cheeses and vegetables. Due to the variety of ingredients, there are over 20 pre-​selected combinations to chose from ranging from relatively-​straightforward (roast beef and cheese on pumpernickel) to downright strange (a combination of 6 cheeses in a wrap). It feels like the sandwiches provide larger portions than the wraps, but it may just be an optical illusion.
Wings: Normally when ordering wings at a restaurant, I will get the hottest ones available. Of the dozens of places I’ve eaten wings at, only two places provided wings too hot for me to finish (Mac’s Tavern in Old City, and here). They offer 10 different scales of hotness, and I am barely capable to consuming anything higher than a ‘6’. Once again, they’ll offer a unique twist even with these. Most of the sauces are «buffalo style», but there is one (I believe it’s a 5) that is 50% composed of black pepper; believe it or not, it’s pretty good.
Bread bowls: Most bread-​bowls you’ll find at Panera are filled with soup; not here. As with anything else, the innards are filled with meat, cheese and a few pesky fruits/​vegetables. When reading the description off the menu, it sounds intimidating; however, this is no harder to eat in its entirety than anything else off the menu. Perfect for eating in the winter (a little too hearty for the summer).
Wrapinis: What is a wrapini? To start, it’s my favorite portion of the menu. It’s a simple concept that you feel you’ve already experienced elsewhere, but you haven’t. You start with an ordinary wrap and fill it with ordinary lunchmeat, ordinary cheese and a few other (usually salty) condiments and then put it in a panini-​press. What happens in the panini press is magic as all the saltiness naturally-​lodged in lunchmeat sweat out due to the heat, unleashing flavor throughout the wrap. Undoubtedly, this is what to order if you only go once.
Others: It feels like this portion was included to offer more mainstream options to anybody intimidated by the other sections of the menu. On here, you’ll find burgers, chicken fingers, crab cake sandwiches and the other usuals. Having wandered to this portion of the menu a few times, I can say that there is nothing wrong with the food here… it just feels like a waste to have something so mundane when such unique gems are being offered. It feels like going to Las Vegas to check out their visitor’s center.
The store is family-​owned and is staffed primarily in-​the-​family, which creates a very genuine environment. In all my visits there, the staff has always been completely hospitable and has never made a mistake placing orders (which is surprising considering how busy they can get). The only drawback is that they do have a tendency to close on random days without notice; however, there are enough other decent restaurants in the area to use as a fallback. Just like your favorite rock-​star that has a less-​than-​dependable reputation, their erratic schedule is completely tolerated when you recognize the quality products they put out.
