Elite Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu of Wilmington

I absolutely LOVE this place. My son is a very wild and fiercely independent 3.5 year old with attitude. Professor John is exactly the solemn soul (in a positive way) that he needs. His coaches also know their craft and teach him how to harness his energy and aggression! I’m blessed to have these guys teaching him jiu jitsu! Everyone who walks out their doors, walks out a better person, everyone.

I just had to write a review for this particular Elite school. Although all the Elite branches are great, this one exceeds all standards for jiu jitsu schools.
The self defense taught here is great for all ages. They have a good variety of classes offered like bjj, Muay tai, Mma, and strength training. My favorite thing about all Elite schools is the wrist band system. You wear the color wrist band of your choice to represent the intensity you want to spar at. That is great for beginners, injuries, or those who are preparing for a tournament.
The reason I had to write a review for this school in particular from all the Elite schools is because of the facility. They have of course the large mat room, but also a room for weight training, and room for the actual cage! The cage room has hanging bags too!
This school is overall great for anybody and offers many things that most schools don’t. If I lived in the area I would definitely take advantage of the opportunities it offers and sign up for classes!
