Extra Space Storage

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!!! You get what you pay for & the rental price is very low… so is the the computer service and apparently the employees who run it. Every other month the computer system or the employees screw up and the auto pay doesn’t work and they expect us to come down there & pay it in person. If the rent wasn’t so cheap we would remove our stuff. As soon as we have a bigger place we will!

Do not use this Storage Facility!!!
We rented the unit and purchased a lock from the facility, we occupied the unit approx. two months and upon returning we found that most of our things were gone, Tools, Memorabilia, Movies, Games, Electronics, all gone. When we reported this to the staff no one cared (inside job) they were not helpful, when asked where the manager was she was not available, was told no and that they cannot even refund us our rent for the shotty service and protection we received. After spending five ours standing around I met several other customers who had also had their units broken into days and weeks prior, and also found out about a disgruntled customer that they possibly suspect is committing the break-​ins, now I’m wondering why they didn’t notify other customers (inside job). Now I’m asking to speak to the District Manager and again I am told no, we cannot give you her number, I’m thinking wow what kind of customer service is that? So we file a police report and clean out the unit take what was left home my crying mother and fiancée in tow. The following Monday I received a follow call from the LAPD Harbor Div, spoke to a very nice man, and I was not surprised to find out that they get called to that same storage facility at least once a week because of break-​ins.
