Bland jalapenos? Yes, they were so bland I asked the server if they were celery. The response «Are you crazy?» is an example of their customer service. SLOW!Once was too much.

Good food. Cute bartender. If you have a frog phobia this is not your place. My favorite food there is chicken tortilla soup. No avocado.

Had great food and the service was great as well.

We had a great lunch here! I’ll admit, we sought it out because we heard the story that Steve Buschemi and Vince Vaughn got in a bar fight here in 2001, so hey, why NOT go? Also the Menu looks fantastic. Any restaurant that has 4:20 Specials is good on my list.
Once we finally found it (don’t give up!) It was much more sane and organized than we expected it to be, which isn’t a bad thing. Of course it was lunchtime on a Saturday, and I can imagine it gets more frenzied at night, especially when they have live music. I loved the Frog Theme, Frogs are cool. They have a huge bar and nice friendly folks working there who provided excellent service. We LOVED the Chargrilled Wings with Fire Sauce. Really, this is the best Wing I’ve ever had, for me anyway, it was perfect. The Black Bean Quesadilla Rolls and the Beef Tacos were Awesome! We were not big fans of the Potato Skins, the just didn’t have enough flavor for us.
The bathrooms were clean and service was very good. Big TVs all over the place to catch pretty much anything anything you need updates on. We’ll definitely go back the next time we’re in Wilmington!

Bottom line, excellent value. All the food was excellent, the wings were absolutely delicious (ancho honey) and the steak quesadilla was excellent. Both bartenders were a delight; both smiling and pleased to serve you. A 23oz beer is only $.50 more than the pint pour. By the way, great craft beer selection with several nitro taps. Multiple TVs playing a variety of sports. Awesome specials. This place is truly under rated.

This place is GNAR. They let one of the line cooks work with pink eye, they serve Kraft EASY MAC, send out nacho plates that are burnt to the point of being black, and they don’t rotate their condiments. A little bit of care and a sense of dignity would go a long way guys.

Hard pass on this place. I can not stress enough how bad our experience was. Perhaps this place is only good if you are just drinking or already drunk. Service was among the worst I ever had. Waitress came and took our drink order (there were 4 of us). We ordered waters to start while we looked over the drink and food menu and after 15 minutes still had no water or anyone check on us. The waitress was sitting down chatting with a friend. We walked out and she got up and said «have a good one» and went back to chatting. I’m assuming the manager was off duty? When I told a few people about my experience they said they also had rude servers and slow service. They said your not missing anything — the foods below average. Walking out was our best choice of the day because we left and got good food and service at a nearby spot.

Never had an issue until today.
Ate the bison burger and wings at lunch.
1.5 hours later extreme nausea and eventually full blown food poisoning. So my doctor says. Really sucks !! I always liked this place. Lesson learned

Got a sampler platter. The mozzarella sticks were good but I wasn’t that impressed by the boneless wings or the jalapeño poppers. My friend got the potato skins and they looked good. My biggest issue was the extremely slow service. Our drinks were never refilled although I asked for a refill. Our party was rather large but there was almost no one in the restaurant when we were there.

Used to go into the location downtown all the time for some beers and a faddi or tacos. Was always a great spot to stop and get the dollar beer and dollar taco special on Monday’s. Filled with good people and pool games. I was sorry to see them leave downtown but excited for Dan (the owner) to have a bigger location where he could have live music again. Unfortunately Firebelly’s lost something in the move to MJ. Service at the new location is bad to put it nicely and the food is ok but not the same… that’s if you actually get what you ordered. I really hope they find what they lost in the kitchen and can fix the service issues because it’s a shame for the old staple Firebelly’s to be represented like it is currently. I’ll give it another try in a month or two.

My best friend and I have made a tradition of eating here every month for the past two years. We always request our favorite server, until this last time when we learned she was recently fired. Way to go. You fired your best server and two of your most loyal customers.

Outstanding spot for day drinking. Attentive service that isn’t overbearing. If you go more than once, the bartenders remember your name and drink of choice. The food is great wether you’re dining in or taking it to go… Highly recommended.

I would love to give this place more stars but styrofoam plates, WTF!!! Please stop killing your good food on cheap, horrible for the environment plates!

Awesome atmosphere with a band usually playing. The food is good and the service is on point. Lots of brews to choose from. Also they have and outdoor bar and plenty of patio seating.

Absolutely love this place and the $ 1 taco and beer night my friends and I are trying to make this a every Monday night night with live music and dollar beer serves was great Ryan the bartender was amazing great guy one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had and made a new friend keep up the good job

Hmmmm loud inside. I normally don’t mind a loud atmosphere, but this was super loud. It took 55 minutes to get our food. The food was good and the portion size was massive. They did have some good beer specials. Look for something better.

We will never dine here again. This last visit was really bad. When I got my three tacos the tortillas were ice cold, like just got them out of the fridge cold. I mentioned it to the server and his reply was «well they got a bunch of kids cooking back there, so I can go yell at them if you want.» The food and service gets worse every month.

Horrible service! Didn’t write down our order but had us repeat it 3 times, didn’t refill our drinks, I had to ask another waittress for some water, literally took 45 minutes to get our checks that had to be corrected 3 times! There was only 6 of us and he had no other tables.
The $ 1 tacos are delicious but that experience was very aggrivating and negative. The manager working the bar never checked on us either.

Red Sox and Patriots fans take notice, all games on a HUGE TV!
I am mostly here on game days, and it gets loud, as it is packed. $ 2 pints and $ 6 pitchers of Yuengling, some good game day specials too.
I stick to tacos, nachos, and wings, as do most others on game day.
The patio is much quieter and frankly nicer, but you get an occasional smoker.

I am really surprised by all of these bad reviews. I went here twice when I was on vacation in Wilmington because we love the food so much.
The service is lacking for sure. The first time, the waitress basically forgot to bring us our beers and the second time our waiters switched mid order and didn’t really communicate anything to each other so things got a little messed up.
But, they have dollar beers and dollar tacos on certain days and they are pretty delicious. Also, the buffalo shrimp faddi is absolutely delicious.
I love firebelly! Enough to drive out of downtown to get it. I hope they can get the service together because I would hate to see this place go out of business.
